Great food but service is slow. We had the chicken plate and a Mediterranean salad with chicken and both were delicious. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable but everything moved pretty slow.

3 of us went for dinner. We ordered Falafel and Spicy Hummus as appetizers. The hummus came along with the pita. Both of them were good in terms of taste and quantity. We ordered the falafel pizza and supreme pizza(the supreme — we substituted the meats with falafel). Both of them were good in terms of taste, although we slightly preferred the garlic base of the original falafel pizza. In terms of quantity, we feel that 1 pizza is good enough for 1 person to eat and be full. So, the next time we come, we are definitely going to do that and save our stomachs a little by having lesser appetizers. Definitely, authentic Mediterranean fare served at this place. Love it and highly recommended.

My friend and I found the food to be bad. Lentil soup was bland, mushy and flavorless. Vegetarian chili had no veggies, just tons of beans. Both items served with two small triangles of stale pita. The eggplant served at other places usually has a rich, smoky flavor – this stuff seemed boiled. Spanakopita was salty and mushy, as if just defrosted. So disappointed because I live nearby and wanted a good place– this is not it.

We’ve heard of this place from a neighborhood website and checked it out for lunch. We had the veggie combo plate, melanzana and chicken veg soup. The soup was really good and homemade, will get that again along with the melanzana. The baba ghanuj was also great, the hummus was mild and not garlicky, falafel was large and tasty, tabouleh, fresh and flavorful. The dolmas were inconsistent, one order was excellent and another was over salty. Will check that out another time. Excellent espresso! Best we’ve had in awhile. The dessert was Maamoul with walnuts. It was not too sweet and you can really taste the rose water. It was good but would be better with dates. Service was very good but seemed very«green», not totally familiar with the menu. Décor is plain and nice enough for a casual meal. We will be back to try their Shish Plate which looks amazing.

Really really want to give this place at least another star so we will be giving it another try and hope we caught them on an off night when we went last night. There was another table of two when we got there and a child’s birthday party, which seemed to be the family that owned the restaurant. The place is small so the birthday party kind of took the place over and maybe it took precedence over our dinner. The reason we’re willing to give this place another try is we love Mediterranean food and the food here is terrific. We split a large Greek salad, I had the chicken shawarma [sp?] and my hubs had the beef. The hostess/waitress was very sweet. However, it took(I wish we had timed it) an inordinately long time to get our Greek salad, which was meant to be our appetizer. Our dinners came pretty quickly after we got the salad, so much for timing. I noticed other reviewers had had similar problems with waiting for their meals. Again, maybe it’s because they were focusing on their family birthday party. Stay tuned…

Dalias is on a main thoroughfare, and kinda across from Push Gym on 31 in Fairport. We made a first visit based largely on Unilocal reviews and the simple fact that I love Mediterranean food! The Shrimp appetizer is a must. It’s perfect size for two people. The entrée choices are only limited by your imagination. The choices includes seafood, pork, beef, poultry, and vegan meat options. The hostess/server was nice, attentive and informed. Dalias is a winner and I will be returning soon!

I love Mediterranean food and was excited to stop in for lunch! I was surprised that they didn’t offer iced tea or club soda as drink options. They really should consider doing so. We settled for iced water with lemon. As an appetizer we ordered the Spicy Hommus. It was delicious, but I thought the portion size was small in relation to the $ 5.75 price. It came with one cucumber slice, one tomato slice and pita bread. As a Mediterranean staple, I thought they could have made it larger and added more accoutrements. For our Entre we ordered gyros and tabouleh salad. The salad was fabulous, plentiful, and was surprisingly less expensive than the Hommus. Their gyro is out of this world delicious and looks more like a warm gyro burrito. I’d definitely like to go back and hope they up their game a little. No iced tea? C’mon man!

Oh my god was our dinner tonight fabulous! As I looked out into the dreary winter night I took a bite into the Melanzana and was taken to a dessert oasis with a gorgeous God standing over me fanning me with palm fronds… OK maybe that’s a bit dramatic, but it was so amazingly good. Hubby picked the Shrimp appetizer and you couldn’t go wrong with either. Moussaka was delicious but I would have preferred it with more spiced meat and less potato. They do not have alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own wine or beer. They have a great organic tea collection which hit the spot for a cold night. I will go back here regularly and/or take out!

Tried this Restaurant based on other Unilocalers reviews. We will definitely be back again. The Shrimp Appetizer was awesome great flavors. Super impressed with the quality. No booze, beer, or wine but you can bring your own in.

Delia’s was excellent! I had the spanakopita plate and the portion was fresh, light, crispy, and deliciously large. The tabouleh was bright and refreshing(though the balance between ingredients might be adjusted slightly — it was mostly parsley). My mother had the chicken kabob pita and the chicken was seasoned beautifully, with just the right amount of tang. The tzatziki was delicious and cool and complemented the chicken perfectly. The people at the table next to us ordered something that smelled so delicious that we leaned over and asked what they got — it was the mashawi, which they agreed was delicious and which was big enough for two. I found Delia’s to be less expensive, much tastier, and MUCH quieter than Aladdin’s. The waitstaff was cheerful and responsive, too. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in town and try one of their pizzas!

I had lunch last week at Dalias and LOVED my greek chicken kabob pita. Everything was fresh and the staff was very accommodating. Stopped in on Monday for some take-out. I got to try the shish kabob pita. If you like beef, it is equally delicious. Can’t wait to try all of them. I’ll be back.

Most of the Lebanese restaurants I’ve been to offer only the basics. Dalia’s offers quite an array of Lebanese food I’m not familiar with, which made it fun for experimenting. The menu is a little overwhelming because of the added Greek, Italian, and American on the menu – presumably to appeal to a broader audience. It’s unfortunate that they can’t just double-down on what they obviously do best – Lebanese food. We had the melanzana for appetizer which was particularly delish because it was served warm. The crispy, seasoned pita are so yummy. Our party of four gobbled up the dish before I could snap a photo. I had the well-herbed shawarma plate. The veggies were nice and al dente. Skipped the rice. I think you can order the plates over salad instead of with rice and veggies which should make any low carb folks happy. Overall, the food felt on the healthy side of comfort food which is pretty perfect for a not terribly cold, late Sunday lunch. I’m really happy this place opened so close to where my family lives. I hope the locals will support Dalia’s, as I’d like to return next summer – the next time we’re in town!

Wow. Just finished my first sit-down meal here. We had gotten take out previously and been impressed but to sit down and get the food fresh from the kitchen is even better. The Gyros are amazing and the Sfiha is to die for. Don’t forget the Baklava to finish off a great dining experience.

This restaurant has great food. The portions are large and I thought I would not finish my food. But the taste was so goreat when I look I had finish the whole thing. They don’t serve alchcol but you are welcome to bring your own wine and no cork fee. Everyone is very friendly and the owner always comes out and greets people. It’s a small place but very family friendly. A must try.

I was so glad to sees Mediterranean place open up on the east side. Went to Dalia’s for lunch. So fresh so delicious. Best hummus in Rochester(sorry Sinbad’s). Falafel was crispy on the outside but not all dry on inside. Flavor explosion. Chicken pita couldn’t have been better. We’ll be back at least once a week! Definitely in our top 10.

Three visits and have enjoyed everything we’ve eaten. Very enjoyable tastes and textures. Freshly made. The pitas have the great qualities of the mix of warm meat and cool veggies and sauce within a soft chewy pita. Perfect. Really warm falafel is the best falafel. Chilled Tabouli is the best. you get the idea. Because everything appears made when ordered the service can be leisurely. Some would say slow. I don’t know if they have corkage fees, there is no info on the menu, but I did notice three other diners brought their own wine, so that appears to be an option. They do seem to be learning when the ebbs and flows of customer volume are occurring, as the word gets around about this place, and adding staff at those times. I have seen this place completely full during Friday dinner(with three wait staff) and almost empty at other times(with one server). Don’t know about lunch. There are about ten tables with seating for maybe 36 or so. They are still at four stars for the following reasons: They’re tables and chairs are not that comfy(definitely sit on the booth seats if you can), which you may notice during the leisurely service. O.k. but not comfy. The wait staff, while super-super friendly, seems to have varying degrees of knowledge about the menu and cuisine. I am confident they could not make anything they serve. Also, when they clean and clear the table next where you’re seating the spray of bleach is definite meal enjoyment intrusion of unwanted odor. I do love that the place is sterile and hygienic. I just don’t want to inhale that during my dining. If you sit near the back by the bathrooms you may notice the«air fresheners» doing their job so well it is noticable in the dining room. And sadly, they still have not figured out the supply and demand needs to always have all of the deserts on their menu available.

Delicious Mediterranean food tucked away in a little corner in Fairport. I have dined at this restaurant 3 times since it opened and each time experienced well prepared, fresh and tasty food. Although the atmosphere is unpretentious, the food is my favorite Greek in Rochester. Super yummy!

Some of the best Mediterranean food in town! We’ve just had an excellent lunch here! The Mediterranean salad has wonderful flavor and was a great way to start. Then I had the shrimp appetizer — so flavorful! My fiancé had the moussaka — wow! The seasonings were amazing! All of the food was excellent, and our sever Rachel took great care of us. Definitely give this place a try!

OMG — We just had a fantastic, savory, late lunch here. Shrimp appetizers to die for! Delish Tabouli. Super fresh, average tasting shish salads. Tasty Greek dressing. Excellent service. Wish I could eat here every day until I’ve tried everything on the very extensive menu. Will try to get my photos posted off my camera phone while my Unilocal app hasnt worked in over a month.
