If i could give zero stars this would be a prime candidate. Went here last week for a couple of items and quite honestly I hadn’t seen a supermarket so DIRTY since the 1960’s. The staff and management do not give a hoot about the appearence of the store plus their prices were much higher than Giant or Shop Rite nearby. It is a shame because in the 70’s Pathmark was a powerhouse and now is a shadow of it’s former self.

The store has closed recently. It is a shame, good people have lost their jobs. The facility was in service to the area for many years. The place was clean, convenient, reasonable and the clerks were all friendly. I had known many of them for a long. It’s sad that people are so shallow that there greatest critical points were: having to wait for at the deli counter(who doesn’t), struggling to open a plastic produce bag,(wow!) or there was not always an express check out open(the self check always was — unless of course that was too taxing). And to the moaner who could not find something more to write in the Lower Bucks Leader than how this place irritated him. I think he should be writing for a women’s over 70 magazine.

I do not know why I bother going here. Everytime, there is a price discrepancy and the people at the customer service desk are extremely rude and slow. The manager is some tall, skinny guy that is equally rude. If you see him coming don’t waste your time.

Wow, just wow. Will never go here again. The only reason my husband and I ever went here was that it is literally around the corner from us. I agree with the previous reviewer, if you have the time, go to Giant. The produce store in the same parking lot(Fairless Hills Produce) has great quality produce for a fair price, so definitely worth checking out. Anyway, this Pathmark has a mediocre selection, meh prices and it always smells bad in there, like rancid fried chicken. When I was pregnant with my daughter I literally could not go in the store 2nd to the nasty fried chicken smell that greets you when you walk in. Today, my husband went in to get some salmon for dinner, it was on sale for 5.99/lb. When he went to get rung up, the fish rang up as «Rainbow Trout» for 7.99/lb. My husband politely brought this to the cashier’s attention. What preceded to ensue was only was can be described as pure idiocracy. The manager on duty was rude to my husband and proceeded to yell at him. She kept saying«THERE’S TWOKINDSOFSALMON» which made no sense, since the fish was ringing up as a completely different kind. After about 15 minutes of getting yelled at and getting nowhere, my husband left… without the fish. This store is mediocre in content and cleanliness but downright terrible in customer service. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

If you aren’t in a hurry, drive a little bit further and go to Giant — or if you don’t need too many items, try the local Wilsons Meat and/or Produce shop(in the same parking lot). When I go to Pathmark, I always end up having to buy something slightly different from what I originally wanted. The selection isn’t that great and the prices aren’t any lower than Giant and are probably even more. This is certainly not the place for people who like to eat natural foods or even those who cook homemade meals frequently.
