Wine, Water, and Worms. (and toys, crafts, and a couple lazy black cats) I found Chapman’s while searching for a place that rents paddleboards around Lake Morey. Ended finding that along with some spicy Jamaican hot sauce!
The ladies that work here are super sweet and even went out of their way to bring the paddleboards to Lake Morey (and back!) for us on their truck. One of my most relaxing afternoons yet in the Upper Valley. Would definitely love to come back and rent from them again~

Literally the cutest, quaintest, most authentic little country store ever. Small mom n pop that has EVERYTHING you need. Including an impressive wine selection. Toys. Maple Syrup. Who knows what else.
I was so excited to be visiting Vermont after 3 years away from my beautiful East Coast. Visiting Chapman’s was such a perfect addition.
They even have a big fat house kitty who lounges on the counter. He doesn’t even move, I thought he was a stuffed animal! If you are in the area and need ANYTHING, support this awesome local store. Staff is super nice!
