Great wine selections at very good prices. Friendly staff. If you are looking for wine, there are not many better than this in the area.

Warm and inviting, nice people an excellent selection of wines… take home or drink there. Most folks don’t know this but it’s all state minimum pricing — just like the super markets — but you get knowledgeable people to help you. Oh, the food is excellent, too. All in all a great experience.

Fantastic experience. Great atmosphere and a wonderful selection of wines and tappas. Outdoor seating is fun but inside you experience the total feeling of wine tasting in a cozy setting.

I’ve been here twice and have only gotten wine and it was somewhat earlier in the day. The service is really good. The staff and owner are friendly and helpful. Ive never eaten here so cant comment on that.

This place is quite a gem. Wine selection was very impressive and the food is awesome! Chef is amazing! The staff is great too! Great service and very knowledgable. Unfortunately, I cannot give them 5 stars because the owner needs a reminder that all customers are important. My husband and I stopped in early one night and we apparently were the first patrons (but we didn’t know that). We sat down and received immediate service from the fabulous bartender. There was a woman was sitting across the bar from us for quite some time enjoying a glass of wine. Then as some other patrons arrived we realized that she was the owner. She never even acknowledged us. What a disappointment! We were even openly chatting with the bartender about our wine tour in Portland. I’ve heard from some other acquaintances that they also had a similar experience with the owner. Perhaps it’s because we are younger, but that doesn’t mean we are not prepared to spend money in your establishment. Too bad THE OWNER’s lack of customer service took away from this place being a perfect 10!

This place has a great atmosphere. The employees are very accommodating and friendly. They have a great selection of wine. It’s very well decorated, and not too loud. This a great place to go with friends and relax. I would highly recommend it to all my friends.

This would be a great place to go on a date or with friends! There is enough seating for couples or groups and everything is dimly lit and cozy. They have a great wine selection (and beer too!) and lots of food to choose from. The owner is very friendly and told us about the exciting events they do on weekends and holidays. Great place to go in Fairlawn!

Nice place. Gorgeous interior. I don’t mind corkage fee. My $ 12 bottle would cost me a lot more by the glass at any restaurant! Folks that complain about that arent doing the math. Perhaps a wine club for multiple bottles. Susan does a nice job. Enjoy a laid back night an stop in.

Hmmm Maria W. I am a regular at Regency and I’ve received excellent service from day one. I’m highly suspicious of this review… Seriously? All five stars and one one star. Take from me, this is a great place!

I had heard of this new little gem in Fairlawn and decided to try it out. I went there and nice atmosphere, but when we walked in we were completely ignored by the owner I believe. She was to busy on the phone. We fluffed it off people are busy I understand. Took forever to get a server, when we finally got a server they were just alright. From what I could tell the server was new, and the owner came Over and reprimanded the new server in front of us. Corrected her and was just completely rude. This is something that needs to be handled as a private matter. And we did notice the owner drinking as well even though it was 7 in the evening a bit strange to start so early? And a $ 10 corkage fee on top of my bottle price, for me to sit there and drink MY bottle of wine I have purchased. I have never heard of such a ridiculous charge unless I am bringing in my own bottle of wine then I could completely understand that corkage charge. But I had purchased the wine there.
I will NOT be going back ever I am HIGHLY disappointed that an employer would treat their employees like this. My out of town guest was DISGUSTED as was I. Lost two customers and I am sure many more after this review.

So im officially deeming Regency Wine Sellers the best wine bar in all of Akron hands down. This place is a hidden gem. I’ve been dropping by regularly and everytime i go in, i feel like a guest and not a customer. Ive learned so much about wines from the owner Susan and the staff is real attentive. The seating is plush and super comfortable and the lighting is perfect. You can actually read the menu and the prices here unlike other wine bars that try to go super dark for so called ambiance. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a beatiful place to enjoy a glass or a bottle of wine in a relaxed atmosphere without any pretense. hope to see many of my friends there in the near future.

Bear with me, okay? I want to express my adoration for Regency while not gushing inappropriately.
But first, an explanation. I want to ask you to take a quick peek at Tabitha P’s review, the sole non-​five-​star review here. (Even the two filtered reviews are five star.) Methinks perhaps Tabitha was in a bit of a hurry. Her wine wasn’t placed into her hand as swiftly as she preferred. Or, to go all Area 51 conspiracy theory, she may not even exist. Or she is a competitor. One review, no friends. Usually those get filtered; perhaps hers is destined for a similar fate.
Pretty rare that a retailer of any stripe receives nothing but five star reviews, yet Regency (if you pretend, as I do, that Tabitha’s doesn’t exist) goes full boat. And that is entirely deserved. Knowledge, humor, perhaps even a gentle touch with the customer is all in evidence. So rare. So appreciated. Stop in, let me know if I’m right, or if Tabitha’s right. (Sure. Like THAT’S a possibility.)

I went into the Regency Wine Sellers with a friend today to purchace a bottle of wine for a co-​worker for her birthday. When we arrived the lady that was there was on the phone and said she would be with us in a minute. After a minute she had just continued on with her conversation competely ignoring us. I decided to go elsewere to buy the wine since I felt she was not interested in helping us and as we walked out the door she asked us if she could help us and I said I was thinking about buying a bottle of wine there and changed my mind and she gave us an dirty look! I would not recommend this place if you want any type of customer service!!!

The best atmosphere in a long time in Fairlawn. great music! the cozy seating and fireplace. great appetizers with a good assortment for different taste. telling a lot of my friends about it can’t wait to go back!

Regency Wine Sellers new Wine Bar is fantastic. A warm and friendly place to enjoy great wines. The small plate food menu has been especially developed by Chef Raphael Vaccarro for the wine bar. This place is just what the area needed. A great place for parties, wine tastings or just a glass or two of wine.
