Love this place!!! The staff is friendly and a great value. The staff is knowledgeable and let you know what the best value is. I highly recommend this salon.

Not happy at all with Hollywood Tans in Akron. Signed up for a 3 month tanning package. Wasn’t using it as much as I expected, so I was told that I had to come back a couple days before the 3 month contract ended to cancel. I talked to someone at the front desk that had said everything would be taken care of and I wouldn’t be charged again. Low and behold, I was charged again. I called and even went up there twice to talk to someone. Each time I was told they would give my name and number to a manager and they would contact me. I finally got a call and was told that they «don’t do refunds». So, they’ll tell you that you have successfully canceled your membership, proceed to charge you again and tell you there are no refunds. The manager was also extremely condescending and rude. Don’t give them your business and steer clear of Hollywood Tans in Akron/​Fairlawn!

The service was nice enough at first, but the booth I got must have old bulbs. My visit there accomplished nothing, other than taking my time and money. I got a «sorry» from customer service and nothing else.

Favorite place to tan by far! The staff are friendly and informative, and the salon is really nice. They even have a complimentary beauty bar to freshen up when you’re finished tanning! I highly recommend!

Worst service. The girl behind the counter was not only unhelpful, but had a major attitude. Avoid this location! For a service based business, I would expect helpful employees.
