Waterman Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Wow. This place is incredible. From the staff to Dr. Nelson. I cannot describe the level of attention to detail and the professionalism that surrounds this practice.
Backstory:
I’m in the process of getting Invisalign. I was recommended this location by my Brother whom had one if his Wisdom tooth extracted. I was beginning to worry as one of my Wisdom tooth started to smell funky (though it looked healthy and have good teeth hygeine). I didn’t want this tooth to hinder or cause any future problems so I decided to have a consultation. Dr. Nelson determined that I have three impacted wisdom tooth that had to go.
Experience:
The whole staff in this building is very thorough. Every question or concern was addressed, from the consultation to the mere second they ran IV into my system. I had three wisdom tooth pulled and one of my upper left tooth to create space for my Invisalign. They were able to accommodate an extra tooth extraction despite only having a day prior notice from my orthodontist.
It’s been 24 hours since my extraction and I’m having minimal pain (granted I followed the instructions given to a tee!). I was prescribed two varrying strengths of pain relievers. I’ve only taken the stronger pill once to aid in sleeping. I am extremely happy with the professionalism and outcome of my extractions. I would definitely recommend this practice to family and friends. Thanks to the Waterman Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team!

Dr. Nelson is the best. He had the LUXURY of installing 2 molar implants for me. Lol. I love this guy. He is witty and fun and made me feel super comfortable. I had a hard time with the IV and he was nice enough to come put it in my arm himself. (By hard time, I mean I was crying and the nurse couldn’t seem to find the vein… not her fault… I was a wreck and probably wiggly around like a fish out of water) Long story short, the man is a legend. I couldn’t have had a better experience. He truly cares about his patients and THAT is hard to find in medical care. Thanks Dr. Nelson! I owe you a flower arrangement. :)

Several weeks ago I went into have all five (!) of my wisdom teeth removed. The entire staff was very friendly and calm, greatly reducing any anxiety I may have had. It took me a little over a week to feel normal again, but since then I have had no complications – it’s been about a month. Dr. Nelson was awesome!

I went in yesrurday and had 3 wisdom teeth removed (one under the gums) I was a little nervous because I was going to be put under with an IV. Within 30 mins of checkin in i was called back. They Got right to work. Dr. Nelson explained the procedure And then it was showtime. they put a BP CUFF, pulse ox, oxygen and 2 Wrist monitors on me. Then the tourniquet and the needle for the IV. DR NELSOn then informed me that I would begin to feel tired and sleepy and then I would wake up and it’d all be done. And that’s exactly what happened. 30 mins later I woke up just feeling a little drunk and still numbed. The feeling came back sooner than I thought it would, but no pain. I took the meds prescibed yesrurday and today I feel great. No swelling. No pain. Haven’t taken any meds yet.
I would deff remocmmned dr. Nelson. He did such a great job and all the staff is super friendly and answered all my question. If I had to do it again I would. :)

I went in today to get my wisdom teeth removed. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful, the dental assistants made the experience very comfortable and the injections were painless. Desiree was especially cordial and ensured I had all of the information I needed for a quick and safe recovery. Finally, Dr. Tyler Elliot Nelson was extremely knowledgable and the procedure went exactly as he explained. Would definitely recommend Waterman Oral!

Even though I use reviews all the time, I very rarely leave them. I found this surgeon on a Google search. I had a broken tooth that I had been using a flipper to cover up for years. I was finally sick of using the flipper and decided to get an implant. After the consultation I felt very comfortable with Dr. Nelson. He explained the procedure to me in a very clear and concise way. I went ahead with the procedure about two weeks later. It has now been about 10 days since and I’m so happy with the outcome. The procedure was completely pain free. The area around the implant was sore for a few days but now feels completely healed and strong. I wish I would’ve found Dr. Nelson a long time ago. I can’t say enough good things about this office. The girls up front are very nice and hard working. They needed an X-​ray that was done at another dentist. The girls did the leg work to get that X-​ray and it was all just to save me some money. They could’ve just charged me to get that X-​ray at their office, but didn’t. Oh yea, and a few days after the procedure I got a phone call from Dr. Nelson asking how I was doing. I’ve never gotten a call from the Dr. themselves before. Absolutely blew me away. Excellent customer service. Thank you all so much.
