I waited 6 months for an opening to establish Dr. Ginsberg as my kids pediatrician based on his reviews. So far, I have been less than impressed with him. My daughter suffers from a visual processing disorder and an auditory processing disorder. I was concerned about my youngest stuttering. His recommendation for both was to consult with the school district. I told him that we worked with the school for classroom accommodations but had specific treatments based on audiologist report that the school district could not help with. He consulted with the staff speech pathologist but said that they (North Bay) was unable to offer the service and conceded that the treatment from the school district would have been subpar at best. Really? Would he settle for a subpar service for his kids? Why would you recommend one for mine? I could have avoided all of this back and forth if he told me from the beginning that he couldn’t have referred me to someone. I’m over him.

Dr. Ginsberg has been wonderful with my boys– 6 and 5. He educated me about our treatment options and let me decide how to move forward. I was not pressured or influenced. I am impressed by his knowledge and professional manner. As for his view on vaccinating children– GOOD FOR HIM. If you feel differently, go to an anti vax doc .
I personally want a physician to have strong opinions as to what he feels is best for his patients. I’m guessing he is also in favor of clean water and pesticide free food sources. We are not living in a third world country. Vaccines are a blessing. Every negative review has been posted by families who take issue with inoculating their kids. It is unfair to skew the ratings based on this one topic.

Mike unfortunately practices the all too common treat the symptoms with big pharmaceutical drugs and not the root cause. He seemed to know very little about nutrition. He also pushes vaccines filled with aluminum for children at very early ages and is unwilling to work with the parent for the best needs of the child. Much better MD’s out there. Just look around.

Dr Ginsberg is an amazing pediatrician. We pay double for our insurance than if we were to switch to Kaiser, just to keep him. He knows what he is talking about, will answer all questions in detail, with facts to back up his answers and treats my son great. We completely trust him, and love his nurse as well. She’s equally amazing.
As for the people bashing him over his rant stance on vaccinations, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. Go somewhere else and bitch if you must. His stance on vaccinations does not reflect on his abilities as a doctor. Obviously everybody that has such an issue are the ones with unvaccinated children. So the answer is simple. Find a different doctor!
