Nice big park with something always going on. Either someone having a party or just a bunch of kids playing or soccer. Great to come on a weekend day especially when it’s sunny and warm just so happens today, the rain has mostly dried out of the play areas. They do have 3 different play areas, nice to differentiate between the toddlers and full grown sugar fueled kids that will even try to run me over playing a great game of tag. Great park again during the day.

I had my son’s first birthday here in October. I also grew up in the area. I was going to reserve some BBQ pits, but they were gross. I ended up just getting the 4 tables under the tree. I picked the park because it was local and had bathrooms. Overall we had a good experience. The area needed cleaned before the party. Lots of cigarette butts and small pieces of garbage from previous parties. There was someone smoking pot in the area next to us as we gathered to open presents. Other than that it’s a simple park. I miss the old wooden playground that I helped build though.

I come here once in awhile to play with my doggy. The fields are huge. This is where they have a lot of the soccer and baseball games for the local kids. Sometimes i just come here because I enjoy the shade at this park. On the weekends there always seem to be some kind of children’s birthday party or two going on at the picnic areas. The children at least look like they’re having fun. The park does have a couple of BBQ pits near each picnic area which is nice. The park’s equipment for the children’s play also seems pretty new and well maintained. I haven’t seen any painted gang signs anywhere so I’m guessing that’s a good thing. I would definitely keep coming here to Laurel Creek park.

Huge park right in the middle of Fairfield, but lacks some key items in my opinion. The soccer fields which I have been to several times are not in the greatest shape with plenty of dirt spots for the kids to get pretty skinned up. Also they only have one bathroom which is all the way across the park plus no doors which = no privacy! This for me is a deal breaker! So for me nice park, good playground can have a few sketch people but for the most part not a bad place to kick it and watch a soccer game.

Ah, finally a fresh breath of my childhood. I remember back in the 90’s and the 2000’s when a wooden playground and two other metal playgrounds with sand existed. I especially loved climbing through the holes of the wooden playground and play with the line of bells. That all went away eventually in the later 2000’s, and it broke my heart. *sniffs* They cut down the three playgrounds into smaller sizes, and they replaced the old playground structures with a new ones. I guess it’s better for the future kids. It’s easier to keep an eye on them and not have them cry about the splinters on the palms of their hands. I was one of those kids back then, and let me tell you, it was worth it! *winks* Anyways, it’s a nice community park to get around. There’s a lot of room to roam around to ride your bike, dog, and play a game of kick ball. I also like the gigantic field next to Laurel Creek Elementary. It’s perfect for a game of soccer. It sucks sometimes when the community soccer teams invade it, but it’s whatever. Also, there are plenty of picnic tables to go around and I believe a few charcoal grills. There’s also two baseball fields where you can sometimes watch the little leagues. One thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. I freaking hate having to take a leak there. If I want to do a number two, forget it, I’m taking my constipated self home! It’s literally minutes away from my home! If you desperately need to use the restroom there, keep in mind that sometimes it may be locked. However, I STRONGLY recommend you PACKYOUROWNROLLOFTOILETPAPERANDHANDSANITIZER since they seem to run out of those things all the time. Overall, it’s a pretty good park to get around, but please stay there when the sun is out. I’ve been reading in the paper lately that there’s been a lot of shootings happening there at night, so parents keep an eye out for your kids’ safety.

This is a nice park! We went to a birthday party and were impressed by the size and cleanliness. The rental includes use of the bbq pit and tables which is nice. They also allow jumpers for birthday parties. You can also bring your dog here on a leash. Good to know this place exists.

Park entrance is on Cement Hill Rd and Gulf Dr. This park had a pretty good sized barbecue picnic area, ball fields, children’s play structure and more. It was getting late in the afternoon so we really didn’t get to spend as much time to explore. The park was clean and groomed. However, the men’s restroom by Yarbrough Field was a nightmare! It’s been another productive day…
