Kuk Sool Won

I attended a FREE Women’s Self Defense class at this school and greatly enjoyed the experience. I appreciate the fact that the Master of this school is reaching out to the community. He was very informative in his instruction and expressed great passion through his craft.

I’ve been looking for a school in fairfield since I moved here so this is one of the places I went to first. After standing in their lobby for what felt like an eternity, I recieved a polite, but not very convincing welcome from one of their black belts. Turned out he was just a student. Finally the «instructor» came out, and was friendly enough and willing to take some time to show me a couple of things here and there, but I got the vibe that he was in a rush because he had to teach. Bottom line: I didn’t feel like I was a valued customer while I was there. Also, some of the things he showed me were questionable.
They’re were polite when they finally helped me, unlike the last school I studied from in Berkeley, but I’m going to keep looking elsewhere. Not the school for me.
