Although it may have a convenient location where I live, I’d rather walk the extra 10 minutes to foodmaxx. Everything there is way over priced(like a lot of those stores are). Everything I used my card they charge too much just for me to use it. And when I use cash, I always get shorted change. The staff is ok. Not great, but ok. But if you question anything about how much you’re charged, then there’s a huge problem. Not too ecstatic about this place.

Went in yesterday to get a slush puppy and the guy at the register asked if I wanted credit or debit. Knowing that it is usually less expensive for the place to run as debit, I say debit. He tacks on a .80 charge for debit and doesn’t let me know about it until I ask him when I look at the receipt. Never known a place to charge .80 cents debit fee, that’s almost a whole dollar! I come in the next day and get another slush puppy and ask him to run my card as credit. He says they cannot run it as credit(ok why did you ask me yesterday which one I wanted to run it as if you can only run it as debit?) I look in my wallet looking for cash and when I can’t find any, told him I do not want my slush puppy anymore. Holding my check card away from me, he points at my slush puppy drink and says«What am I supposed to with this now?» I look at him puzzled and explained what happened yesterday. He said«You are supposed to ask me first» What? Seriously? Most places post signs either on the door or at the register. If there’s no sign why would I ask or assume you are too cheap to not use a credit machine so you can charge your customers almost a full dollar just to make a debit card purchase? And just yesterday YOU asked ME if I wanted to use my card as credit but suddenly today you don’t take credit cards! WTH!!! I had to reach across the counter and take my check card out of his hands. Try to imagine that. He said«Do not ever come in here again» and pointed at the door. Alright buddy you got it, and hopefully this review will keep a few more people from ever coming in here again too.
