Mall employee /military discount works! Just show them your ID or tell them where you work or show some type of work ID and they will honor it. I love coming here when it’s not busy. I love everything about hot dog on a stick considering how nice the workers are to me they actually ask me about how my day is. Excellent service!

Went here the day before thanksgiving since I had a coupon, and as soon as I got close enough to see their store front, I could already see a line. There was one girl working by herself, and probably about 5 groups of people ahead of me. After the first 5 minutes of waiting, I saw her backup running through the mall to quickly get to the store and start helping. After maybe another 10 – 15 minutes of waiting, I was finally able to order. I had downloaded and signed up for their phone app to get $ 2 off, but for some reason it wasn’t working, but didn’t worry too much about it since I already had a coupon for buy one menu item get one free. The two girls working were also really nice, so I wasn’t about to give them a hard time over something stupid like that. I always get the american cheese on a stick, which is pretty good, but nothing spectacular. On their app you get loyalty points, 1 point for every $ 1 spent. Considering how often I go to hot dog on a stick and that you have to get 75 points to get $ 5 off, I would say that it’s not really worth it. Also, for a «fast food» restaurant, I would hope to never again have to wait 20 minutes for some cheese on a stick. I’m sure I would eat here again, but won’t be going out of my way for it.

I just had a horrible experience at this location!!! It seems petty to criticize the customer service at a fast food place in the mall but I can’t help but write a review, it was such an embarrassing experience. I bought a groupon for HDOAS on impulse, just thought it might be a fun treat for my twin daughters during Christmas shopping. I was surprised to see a line of customers when we arrived, the young woman behind the counter was certainly not in a hurry to process orders. When it came our turn to pay for our order, she told me that she couldn’t accept the groupon I had. Then she disappeared into the back of the store, while a line of people backed up behind me. When she returned, she said she could try to put it in the register, but she would rather not since it might«cause a muddle(?)» and they didn’t accept coupons unless her manager was present and«she just went to the bank.» She then expected me to pay full prize for the order. I almost did, just to avoid a scene but, but then just walked away because I wasn’t going to be bullied into paying for something I already paid for once online. It seems like employees are not well trained or even trying to be friendly. Why offer a special and then not honor it? I think the worst part was that tried to make me feel like this was my fault. Great way to attract new customers! 10 Dollars for 1 hot dog and 2 lemonades? Never AGAIN!

If you’ve been to one HDOAS you’ve been to them all. But you definitely have to appreciate the uniforms. They somehow managed to make an outfit that is strangely arousing(depending on who’s wearing it of course), while also looking hilariously goofy at the same time. You don’t go here for the food, you go here to watch softcore porn directed by people tripping on acid with actors dressed up like carnival employees. And who doesn’t like corn dogs and fresh squeezed lemonade? American hating commies that’s who! So get over here and grab a few impaled wieners. You won’t regret it.

Its a hotdog on a stick. Lemonade is usually really good but depending on who is working sometimes the corn dog or cheese on a stick is mostly batter. I wish prices were cheaper but I don’t come here more often so I guess its ok. Service can get uncomfortable when the cashier tries to take someone order while trying to serve the previous orders but its a stand in the mall not a sit down restaurant.

I love love love hotdog on a stick. During my last pregnancy corn dogs were all I ate(unfortunately hahaha). Customer service has always been good if not great. They’re always polite and courteous. The main attraction, their famous corn dogs are always cooked until done. Golden brown and crispy on the outside and hot perfectness inside. But their drinks, holymolycanoli, are to die for. I love their drinks especially the lime lemonade. Sometimes I just get a large drink and call it a day, no need for a corn dog as long as I have my drink. If I could I would give this place 10 stars. Two thumbs up for sure!!!

I normally don’t like eating corn dogs, but I make the exception for Hot Dog on a Stick’s. I usually order a kids combo and upgrade my drink to the largest size — I can’t get enough of their cherry lemonade! Service is fast(when you miss the crowds) and the young ladies that work there are polite. Definitely a plus in my book.

When I come to Solano Mall… since my tweens, I couldn’t resist this place. How can rate them anything lower than a 5 star. Not only are the girls behind the counter bubbly and cute, but they fry a mean corn dog! Crispy… crunchy and so delicious with french fries. Of course, wash it down with a large cherry lemonade… make it a combo!

Everything about this place rocks! The corndogs are amazing and the lemonade is freaking awesome. Don’t let the crazy uniforms fool you, if you ever get a chance to try them dooooo eeeet! They make them a la minute so you may have to wait a few minutes, but it’s worth it.

God… give me the strength to overcome my love of Hot Dog on a Stick. You have to understand something-I have an addiction to carnival and state fair food. Garlic corn, alligator bits, funnel cake, turkey leg, frozen cheesecake on a stick, pad thai served in little paper boats, and hot dog on a stick. Now that they’ve added this amazing creation called cheese on a stick(don’t raise your eyebrow at me till you’ve tried it) I can’t pull myself away from it. I treat myself to a blueberry lemonade, veggie dog on a stick and a pepperjack on a stick for lunch when I feel like living dangerously and promise myself 2 miles of jogging when I get home. There’s something so classic and reminiscent of fond summer memories when I slurp that funny colored lemonade and chomp on my fried heaven. Now that cheese on a stick has been added to the roster, I eat my veggie on a stick first and let the cheese cool down a little. Then I take the stick out of the cheese and eat it upside down. What you’ve got is a cheese Hot Pocket in a sense or a cheese sandwich with no seams and no means of dripping hot cheese anywhere. Genius. If Hot Dog on a Stick started telling soup so we could dunk the cheese sticks, I’d open up a franchise myself… in my house.

«Do I want Green, Red or Yellow?» This is the question that I ask myself whenever I walk past a hotdog on a stick. Green=Lime, Red=Cherry and Yellow=Yellow…I mean Lemon. I usually choose Green or Red, I don’t actually think I have tried the Yellow. I also haven’t had one of their hotdogs in more than a decade now. I really just go for the Lemonade but I did try the funnel cake this last time and I have to say it wasn’t bad, just overly sweet. When they hand it to you it looks like a tray full of french fries covered in ketchup but it really is fried dough covered in HFCS raspberry sauce. If you have never been here then I suggest getting the Green Lemonade. It is the best of what they have to offer.

I can’t help it, this place is a guilty pleasure. When I get those rare cravings for a hot dog, I almost always go for Hot Dog on a Stick. The bread is yummy, yummy goodness and the price is just right.

I normally enjoy hot dogs on a stick, but not when they’re undercooked. HKB and I resorted to this place after our snowboarding trip because we forgot Chik-Fil-A closes on Sundays, and we were famished. After taking a bite, HKB pointed out some white goo inside. The girl commented that it was just batter that wasn’t cooked all the way and proceeded to cook another one for us. No apology or offers for a free fresh-squeezed lemonade when I ordered one while waiting for my new hot dog. To add to my dismay, she busily chatted away with her coworker while holding an empty cup in her hand as we were dying of thirst too.

Ok I have been coming to this place since I was a lil tyke and I can’t believe I havent reviewed it yet! Well today’s experience was none the less the same as every other! Cheerful employess that greet you right away and cook your order in lightning speed! I love the fact that they squeeze there own lemonade, but l don’t love the fact that they don’t have anything besides corn dogs, hot dogs, cheese on a stick, veggie on a stick, fries and lemonade! I’m hoping that one day they will open the menu a lil more!

I don’t come here often but I do love their products. I got a regular limeade and a lemonade for mother. She mixed a few splendas in there for her and then handed me a few more in case it was still too bitter. How sweet the young lady there was. They have tiny cups if you want to sample the flavors. Maybe I’ll get a stick of cheese deep fried next time. hahaha

I’ve been busted. I’m a corn dog fiend. I love them. Crispy and Hot, 3 parts catsup, 1 part mustard. A dip, A dab and a bite! Whenever my daughter comes to the mall for lunch, I send her here to pick up a dog and fries. Yummy. Everything is bright and clean and very primary(you know what I mean). The service is always impeccable. It says something about employee owners doesn’t it?
