I called my road side assistance for a tow and this company came out. They were prompt to come out. I was only allowed to have 15 miles free of charge and was told miles over that would be $ 7.50 a mile. Well I understand they can’t go on the parkway and that being said I did this route parkway free to my mechanic and it was 18 miles. They ended up charging me for 23 miles miles. The invoice should have been $ 22 instead I ended up paying $ 60. Not a happy about this.

Used Criger through my USAA roadside assistance. I had a flat tire that would not come off at all, so I needed to get it towed to a tire place. Gentleman was friendly and approachable. He even took he time to fill up the tire so it wouldn’t be driven with a flat for the 2 second ride up the ramp. Easy tow, seem like good guys to me.

Everyone is always quick to complain but rarely as quick to compliment. My insurance company called Criger Service to tow my car off Rt. 80 — the State Police were unwilling to wait behind my car and keep me safe but within an hour John showed up and had us off the road in less than 5 minutes. I am forever grateful! His smile and friendly demeanor during a unsettling experience was greatly appreciated. Way to go John and Criger! I am a very satisfied customer!

I called for a quote to Criger’s towing last week. They quoted me a specific amount for a 15ft box moving truck. I waited until Wednesday of this week in order to book the tow from verona to hawthorn NJ. They sent the truck and staff 20 minutes later. He was fantastic. I would highly recommend them, pricing was transparent and professional! Thanks!

Received very helpful service from Criger today. My family has had bad experiences with Criger’s management in the past(similar to things mentioned in some other reviews), so I was a little wary when my insurance company sent a Criger truck. Thankfully, it was a good experience. Our tow truck driver(Darryl, I think) was pleasant and professional, and knew just how to maneuver to drop my car off at a tricky, small mechanic shop. Did have to wait a bit over an hour, but I was in a safe location so that didn’t bother me.

Had a damaged oil pan from raised man holes. Was able to gimp the car into a nearby shopping center. Took the truck an hour and a half to get to us, but otherwise we had great service. Worked with Jon. He was very aware and knowledgeable as to how to tow my modified car… lowered and powder coated after market rims, etc. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing, so we weren’t so nervous about the car being further damaged during transport. He even cleaned up the oil that was left in the parking lot. I would highly recommend them for those that have lowered vehicles. They know how to handle them. On a flatbed!

Wow, these guys are good. I got a text saying ETA would be 5:01 and my car was on the bed by 5:02! Super friendly service too and truck was clean and air conditioned.

Quick tow service but beware after that. I broke down and had my car towed here with AAA. They told me I needed a new alternator for my 2003 Hyandai élantra. They wanted 600 dollars. They also charged me 96 dollars just to plug my car into their diagnostic computer and charge my battery. If you are a woman beware!

We had a breakdown on a ramp in the rain. Jimmy came as quick as possible because he knew it was a dangerous location. Great service, good guy.
