Close to the base which is convenient for the base populace. More importantly Eddie Ruby and Millie are personable and can back it up with legit cuts & price.

I had Ruby and Eddy work on my hair today, they were more than professional they were fun! They were able to give me exactly what I was looking for. The place is a little hidden, but its a gem super clean and welcoming. These people actually talk to you, and make you feel valued. The price is crazy low compared to what they should charge. They are open late which is awesome for people on Mids or 3rds. They do my husbands hair as well, and he refuses to go anywhere else. I will only be coming here to get my hair done from now on. Thanks guys YOU ROCK!

We are new to the area and needed a clean cut and sharp line up for my son’s 1^st day of school.
I called and made a last min late appt and he was immediately taken. I showed them the cut we were looking at off the pictures. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what it ended up looking like. No problem, the ower helped the barber fix it up and it looked pretty good in the end. Not what I wanted but I was feeling better about the cut.
They were really professional and kind about the error, luckily my son’s hair grows really fast. Bottom line, it was how they fixed and responded to my disappointment made the difference.
I was told to ask for another barber when we return next time. And yes, there will be a next time!

This is the spot right here. These four amazing people get it done. Well known reputation from working at the base barbershop. They are the best which means there’s a high demand for any of them. Best thing is to call and Schedule an appointment. Otherwise you can sit there read some magazines or even listen/​tell some gossip.
The facility is well maintained and is always clean and presentable. You are also welcomed to have some water or cookies while waiting.

After my barber of 12yrs at Elite Cuts retired without telling her clients I was on the lookout for a new place that could do military style haircuts. I put an SOS out on Facebook and was told to come to Co-​Op. First impressions when I walked in was that I walked into a scene from one of the Fridays movies. But it really was a welcoming environment. When I told them my story they definitely jumped into action to make me their new customer. They succeeded I’ve found my new barber shop and will tell everyone I know about them.

James is the best. He always does a great job. Everybody walks out happy. And it’s 100% versatile. Not like many barber shop where they only cut one ethnicity hair. I think these barbers do a awesome job.

From my second haircut on base (first one was not from Mrs. Ruby and was not up to standards) Mrs. Ruby has done an amazing job. Not only did she know what a military cut is suppose to be, she made sure it was «baby smooth». Along with James they made a great team and still do! Great cuts and great conversations, all in one place now, without the «dictator ship» of AAFES.
Now I won’t have to settle for a sub par haircut at the Travis AFB CA BX barber shop, nor deal with the rudeness of the new manager there.
CO-​OP haircuts is the place to be, it’s like walking into my «Aunties house» and feeling welcome and relaxed for a nice clean cut!

The best barbers from the Travis BX joined forces to open this shop and it’s great!
The shop is new & clean, the staff is friendly, it’s conveniently located just outside the base, they take appointments, and the price is within pennies of the BX. Plus, they give out loyalty cards so your 11^th haircut is free… Winner!
I have 22 years experience of getting haircuts every two weeks at the BX (AAFES) and learned to accept my choices: 1.) Pull a number and play the haircut lottery– hoping I win and get a decent cut with any random barber or… 2.) Give my number to one of the barbers that had a long line of faithful customers ahead of me and know I’d get what I asked for when it was my turn. Co-​op Haircuts has eliminated the haircut lottery game– they are all good!
Also, I take my two boys (5 & 7) there and they always come home with mom-​approved picture-​ready handsome looks.
No more BX barber shop for us.

All the good barbers from the Travis bx opened this barbershop so I’ve been coming here instead. Excellent service and great people!
