So I «called in my order» since ai was running late. When I asked the total her response was «I don’t know». I go in and she throws my sandwich in the bag in a hurry.
I get up to my job and My sandwich is completely burnt. As mentioned I am running late so I have no way of going back. I called and she says «somehow the toaster burnt it». Excuse me? Didn’t you see that when you took it out? So furious she charged me way more than a bagel (it was a croissant) and I don’t have breakfast. She offered me another tomorrow.

Good bagels. Only downside is it’s kosher. So no meats for a breakfast sandwich. I would recommend buying the bagel as is and taking home to make a sandwich or toast.

This could so easily be 4 stars if they only had breakfast essentials!!! They have some of the best bagels around and a flat griddle for eggs, but no BACON? no HAM? no SAUSAGE?
Coffee is great too!
So grab some bagels to head home and make your own breakfast sandwich.

Pretty basic. Four small tables, though there is seldom a struggle to find a seat. Staff is friendly and the bagel selection is decent enough (as are the cream cheese options). There is honey for sweetening a hot tea — nice touch. The fact is, there just isn’t much else to say about the place. I’m sure better options exist but are they worth the mileage?

I have also eaten at the Black Rock Tpke location and both are great. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I often come to this location on Friday mornings around 8 and the service is very quick. I love the everything bagel with scallion and herb cream cheese. The iced coffee is good. The service is always friendly.

Excellent NY style bagels.
Limited options but they do have a hot plate for egg & cheese.
Everything flagells are my favorite.
Jalepeno, salmon, veggie, scallion and fruit cream cheeses, traditional whitefish, tuna salad, & Boar’s head meats too.
Standard coffee.
Out door patio is very pleasant.

Babur hit it on the head. Nothing real special but more important nothing to complain About either. Solid place to grab breakfast on the go

Poor service, limited selection (no bacon), and $ 10 credit/​debit card charge minimum (yes, at a bagel shop). Had to walk around the corner to take a $ 20 out at a nearby bank for a lousy egg sandwich and mediocre coffee.
Don’t waste your time.

I actually think this place is pretty good. Good bagels, fine and quick service.
Bagel King is in a convenient location, and is also one of the only places in Fairfield I know where you can get something good to eat for pretty cheap.

There is nothing wrong with their products, but the staff is another story. I used to come here in the morning for a bagel and drink but not after seeing them handle money at the cash register and then cut my bagel– no gloves. I even went back another time after I noticed thinking maybe it was a one-​time deal. Not the case. Gross.
