I went to michelle for a big change! She cut off 10″ for me to donate to locks of love and then gave me a great new (much shorter!) cut and beautiful natural looking highlights :) I also found the quality of the cut and color to be extremely reasonably priced. So glad to have found my new hairdresser!

Daphne has cut my hair for 10 years and I have been very happy with it every time. I would highly suggest going to the Beauty Bar to anyone!

Great Cuts. Local that lives in San Anselmo. Supports local schools. It doesn’t get much better.

I have been getting my hair cut by Daphne since I was in 8^th grade. I am now 26. That should tell you about the quality of the haircut and also the awesome person she is! All the staff there are incredibly friendly and funny. I am always welcomed with a hello and a smile. When I was younger, I never was able to find a barber I quite liked, as they either never cut my hair the way I liked it or they just kind of annoyed me with their «small talk». After originally getting my hair cut by Daphne, I have not had someone else cut it in over 12 years. She is as professional as they come and I plan on coming back here for hair cuts as long as Daphne is working there. They are great for kids cuts and adult cuts. They also do hair styling and coloring. Very good prices as well. Go once and you will never go anywhere else again!!!

I love Celeste at the Beauty Bar! I’ve been going to her for haircuts since I was a tween and I can always count on her for a stunning haircut, a new look, top products, hair advice and awesome conversation.

Today was a big one for my 10-​year-​old twin girls… a rite of passage for many girls going into preteen-​dom. They got their ears pierced at The Beauty Bar by Chelsea. I should add that they were followed by their entourage, namely their daddy, their grandma, their cousin, and me (their mommy). Chelsea was kind and super patient with my very nervous girls and their over-​opinionated grandma and mom (yah, that’s me). Poor Chelsea drew and re-​drew those black dots on their lobes several times before she got the OK from all of us on the location that we liked for the earrings. Even through the tears (I’m not just referring to the girls… Grandma and I shedded a few as well), Chelsea was amazing. She made my girls feel like little rock stars and I know they will never forget her.

Michele did me right, even though I had to go back for a ‘fix’ she made me feel very comfortable doing so and was very personable and friendly and easy to talk to. During the first cut, a bit too much chatting from her station neighbor, kinda constant, which could have resulted in the need for the ‘fix’ but… I’m definitely going back and would recommend.

I love the Beauty Bar! Daphne’s been cutting my daughter’s hair and mine since they opened way back. But all the gals here are great: friendly, talented and great fun. I won’t go anywhere else!

It took me awhile to find a hairdresser that I liked in Nor Cal. I went to Michelle at Beauty Bar and she did a great job! My cut and highlights are just how I wanted them and I receive a lot of compliments on my hair. I would have paid double at a high end salon for the same result. Great prices and service!

Daphne’s great. She gave me a great haircut and was able to «get it,» to understand what I wanted in haircut through my vague grunts and hand gestures. I love it when I find a good hairstylist. I’ll definitely be back.

I finally found it! A hair salon that can cut my hair like I want it. My hair style is very simplistic, but for some reason every where I went they wanted to give me some sort of a extra fancy multi-​layer cut. As I am sure they thought the cut they were giving me would look good on me, it was not what I wanted. And I was paying a lot of money for these cuts I didn’t want. Then I found Chelsie at the Beauty Bar. She rocks! I told her what I wanted and she gave it to me exactly. My hair looks great and I couldn’t be happier. So if you want a great haircut at a reasonable price, go to the Beauty Bar. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been getting my hair done at this place for a long time, and I love it. n Daphne is my stylist and she is professional when it comes to dealing with Afro type hair. Not only looks good when I am done, My hair smells good, feels good, and is growing a lot better.
All of the sylist ther are beautiful inside and out, and work well together.

This place is terrific! The ladies here are super chatty and friendly, the cuts are great, and they are very reasonably priced. I love how there is no pretense: the ladies sit you in the chair and immediately begin to dish with you on local gossip. Best of all, I am certain that they will give me a really great cut, regardless of which stylist I get. Additional props are due for being particularly kid friendly: they have a lot of child customers, but also have a little part of the store for your little one to play while you get your haircut.
