Stopped by for lunch and we took a shot on the chicken sandwiches. Definitely had flavor, just wish there was a bit more meat. Atmosphere and staff were pretty chill. Got a free coffee for checking in. I’ll probably pop in again when in the neighborhood.

I’m really glad I finally stopped here for a coffee. I had no idea I was missing out on the best cup in town. Also the baked goods I’ve sampled so far have been really excellent. This is the most exciting discovery I’ve made in Fairfax in quite a while.

To say I’m addicted to Taste is putting it mildly. The breakfast sami it a perfect blend of bacon, sharp cheese, egg and bread. I know it sounds completely average but its not, trust me and try it! If you need something sweet you can’t go wrong with anything and I do mean anything.
I’ve worked my way through the chocolate cookie with just the right amount of salt and dark chocolate to the french butter/​sugared dessert I have no idea how to spell but can’t stop eating to the seasonal tarts. For a savory good try the scone with olives and other veggies. I get one, take it home and have it with a poached egg. So hungry now.
I don’t work there but I do feel like I should have my own table I’m there so often.

What a gem.
The name of the place should be GREAT AWESOME Taste Kitchen & Table!
Since this place opened, I’ve come in whenever I’m in these parts. The baked goods are beyond delish. Great sandwiches. Overall, a totally great menu. Checking out the other tables, there was a smile on everyone’s face.
Try the bullet proof coffee. This was new to me but now, I’m trying to home brew it. I’ll still be coming back to enjoy the one here.

First visit, first impression. Lunch on Saturday. Very cramped. We had to clean our table ourselves before we could eat. We had the shakshuka, which was excellent. I would come back for that dish. This little eatery opened in my neighborhood, and I will support it. I’d be happy to see some improvement though.

Came in here a couple of weeks ago in need of some food after a day trip to Point Reyes. The women with darker red hair who was at the register was so sweet! But I absolutely loved the chicken curry sandwich. But make sure to get it with their ciabatta bread. If you’re looking for a really solid lunch and you’re in the area, look no further.

How can it be great one day and terrible the next. The baked goods are sometimes excellent and other times inedible. The service is sometimes friendly sometimes downright rude. Today we had the worst of both. an inedible scone and rude service.
We have been stopping here every weekend for a long time but dont think we will be back

Stopped in at taste for meal, it was a nice experience start to finish. I had the breakfast Sammie as well as the Chinese Chicken salad. Both meals were delicious. Staff was friendly. I’ll be back to try this diverse and delicious looking menu some more.

Stopped in while driving back to the city, what a wonderful little restaurant! They had such personal service, you can tell they really pride themselves on taking care of their customers. My friends and I got a range of the breakfast items and one open faced chicken sandwich, and a round of lattes and hot chocolates. Everything was brought to us with care, they even offered to cut our friend’s sandwich for her. Beyond that, the food just really hit the spot. If you get the chance, definitely grab one of their cinnamon sugar pastries, it was so good!

We stumbled upon this on a trip from the city to Point Reyes and we wanted a desert after eating at Taco Janes in San Anselmo (see my review). This is run by two people who care about the contents of their baked goods and the people that come in to eat. It was filled with locals and so many people that came in were greeted as such, so it’s warm and friendly and comfortable as well. Delicious gluten free options, well crafted croissants, brownies and one of the best chocolate chip cookies my wife says she ever ate! I’d return here just for the warmth and energy of the place, and the food could just be the icing on the cake (pardon the pun). If in Fairfax, a must try!

As a pseudo gluten free eater, its fun to come here to indulge.
I like to order the gluten free chocolate chip cookie– its so good and doesn’t leave me feeling stomach-​achey like other gluten free cookies do.
The staff are sweet, caring and ready to make your day every time you come in.

Whether you want just some flakey pastries, sweet pecan rolls, savory croissants or a full blow salmon salad, this is THE spot in Fairfax. Everything is good. Even the yogurt in their pre-​made parfaits was organic and had real vanilla bean in it. Pastries and treats are sinfully good and we also had a cuban sandwich that might be the best one Ive ever had. This place is small so plan to share a small space or just take it to go. It travels well! Don’t miss this place if you are in Marin County.

Delectable pastries and outstanding capuccino. I am currently obsessed with their Bear Claws – absolutely heavenly made with an almond paste combined with poppy seeds. The pastry is luscious. Staff is always friendly. There are also some wonderful lunch items to go in the refrigerated case: chicken and kale salad, broccoli crunch salad, always some kind of cold noodle salad and some special kombuchas too. A great spot to have lunch or coffee with a friend or to grab a few picnic items and hit the trails.

Best place in Fairfax. A bit (OK a lot) more chic than the typical small-​town, «family friendly style» eateries here. Their lattes are great and come in proper latte mug/​bowls :). Their food menu is unique and tasty, and their pastries are to die for. It is the only place I have ever gone back to specifically to have another one of their pastries. The kouign amann is the best bit of baked dough and sugar I have ever tasted in my life. The sugar is just perfectly sticky and caramelized in all the right parts. So so good.

I have been here 3 times for the Art Social nights they have. The food is excellent and service is really good. Lorenzo is the best! The only thing to note is that they don’t have AC, so if it’s hot outside, it won’t be a relief going in. The space is pretty cozy. Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. They have really amazing cookies. Chocolate truffle FTW!
