Amazing. This is one of NOVA’s best kept secrets. Right in the heart of the town of Fairfax, located steps from 3 well priced hotels with airport service from Dulles, and exceptionally cost effect, the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center is a steal if you need a larger space for any function.
I held my sister’ baby shower there yesterday and it was PERFECTION. Steve – the manager on site – could not have been more helpful, even getting me two additional tables for presents and gifts. Everything from dealing with Kaveh and Abbie during booking, to tear down and clean up was easy, and they were super accommodating to my needs.
Our room, The Greenfield Family Art Room, had floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the beautiful woods. The room was set to a particular temperature, but we could ask to have it adjusted if need be. Everything in the room was top quality, including the padded, cushioned chairs (no folding chairs here) and laid out just as requested.
As a former NYer, it’s difficult to find a «usual» hall to have functions, but this place is not only just like what you would find at home … it’s better. I HIGHLY suggest using this site and working with these people for your special day.

Wonderful facility to hold Children’s activities. They host a lot of events here for all ages,
and they find the top in delivering community events.
