I went to salon diva for the first time today for color, cut and highlights and all I have to say is WOW!!! Besides the fact that they had impeccable service and were very attentive, Nadia (she worked on me) the lead stylist does a phenomenal job! I’ve been going to the same place for years so I was hesitant to change my place, but after seeing a couple of my friend’s and family’s hair I decided to give it a try… I’m so glad I did!!! My highlights are perfect! I’ll definitely be her new client!

I stopped here on a whim because I was in desperate need of getting my eyebrows waxed. The place is located in a strip mall in Jermantown Square in Fairfax. Upon entering I was not impressed. The people who worked look like they just woke up and came to work. I am one of those people where when I walk into a salon I want to see the people working there with awesome blown out hair and rocking the latest fashion trends.
Anyway, I asked if anyone could wax my eyebrows since I didn’t have an appointment. After conferring for a few minutes a lady I later learned at checking out named Jenny said she would wax my eyebrows. Jenny did a good job but there was no communication with me besides that I wanted a clean up. She didn’t tell me that she was working me in between another customer so when she took off for a few minutes leaving me with only one eyebrow done I saw her put a lady’s feet inside of the pedicure chair and running water for her so she could soak her feet.
The end result was a decent eyebrow job. But this place lacked customer service. I also was shocked to learn that my eyebrow waxing cost $ 23 before tip. I am in fairfax not in Georgetown so I was surprised by this. Plus this is a little hole in the wall salon. I know ladies, I should have asked before getting my eyebrows waxed but I didn’t expect that at all. All in all, I will not come back because I didn’t feel welcome here and it was too pricey for the results.

I love Nadia! I was introduced to Salon Diva by a friend and went in to get my eyebrows threaded. I was starting to go gray and thought I would try out their coloring service. Nadia was spot on– I loved my color and I was hooked. I am bi-​racial and had worn my hair buzz cut (as in a #4 guide at a barber shop) for over 20 years! I was so confident with Nadia that I finally grew my hair out and got a Brazilian Blow-​Out. I now have thick, healthy, beautiful shoulder length hair and receive compliments every day– literally! I highly recommend Salon Diva & Spa and plan to be a customer for life!

I am still hooked! I love my hair! Nadia was gone for a while and I had to find another stylist but as soon as Nadia was back I returned to the fold. Annie gives the best shampoos… always gets right to the sore spots in my neck and rubs then away. I have been coming here for over 5 years and plan to keep coming until death do us part.
