Best staff ever! The crew is great, especially with some of the entitled, snotty people that live around here. Best sandwiches in town. You guys should raise your prices… YOUARETHEBEST! Thanks for always being amazing!

This is a family friendly establishment with excellent food and very friendly service. The bread is beyond fresh and all ingredients tasted perfect. We really enjoyed our lunch and the portions were fantastic. I give five stars to the Perry’s crew and look forward to returning

Great place to grab a quick lunch. They have always had fast service, something that seems to be hard to come by around fairfax, and something that compliments the quality of their food rather well. They have a very friendly staff, and I will often enjoy a good laugh or smiles while acquiring my mid-day nourishment. They are really the only place to get a sandwich in town, and I would SRONGLY recommend their burgers and/or milkshakes over M&G’s(the so-called competition). They have great vegetarian options as well. The perry’s veggie sandwich is delicious, and their black bean burger with swiss, delectable! This really is a great family-run deli, and I will continue to remain a customer for the foreseen future.

Old school is fine, but the rotten attitude of the employees is not. People who make me food don’t need to be happy, but they do need to be trustworthy and not be rude. Steer clear of this stink hole.

I can’t believe anyone could complain about this place. One of the last hold-out, old-school real places around with good service, great sandwiches and burgers, and very good prices. Love the BLT with avocado, they really listen when if you request crispy bacon, etc. Never had an issue here and been going for at least 10 years.

This place is filthy. It starts with the windows, front door, trash cans, tables, counter, deli meat section, floors… hate to imagine what the back is like. The owner who works the counter has a horrible attitude. It’s obvious she hates to be there, and openly complains to customers.

The grill options are significantly better than their sandwiches. I love their burgers, Philly cheese steaks, and chicken strip sandwich all of which are great bang for your buck choices. A standard burger is about $ 5 and is definitely more than filly. Cheese steak is about $ 7 but they do it right. Loaded with meat, cheese, and peppers. Chicken strip sandwich is also about $ 5 and is just as tasty as the rest. Fries are great if they’re the thin cuts, but the onion rings are mediocre. For a deli they sure know how to work the grill.

Stopped in today, jonesing for a burger & fries. Exceptional burger with a classic grilled patty, toasted bun, nice lettuce & tomato — all of it big & fresh & simple. Fries were perfectly made, sea salt added, a large basket of potato love. The staff was attentive & helpful & got the job done. Been to Perry’s a few times over the past 30 years & it’s a good deli, but I never had their burgers. I will be going back whenever the burger jones hits, I was so happy with my meal!

I love Perry’s! They are so friendly and their burgers are AMAZING! Best burger in Fairfax and you can’t beat the price and portion size! Everything on their grill menu is phenomenal! They also have super yummy breakfast sandwiches! The only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is because they don’t have a huge quality meat selection(I wish they had hot coppa and maybe some other higher quality options). They are perfect for grabbing something on the go or for sitting down. They also have great hours and are a perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

I almost didn’t walk in the door of Perry’s because of some of the negative reviews here on Unilocal… but it was Sunday morning, and we wanted to grab some sandwiches to eat while hiking, and this was very convenient. Well it turns out that this is a great place! The two people behind the counter were quite friendly and helpful and attentive. And it turns out that they offer gluten free bread(usually, including today, I bring my own gluten free bread when grabbing a quick sandwich… this is the first place I have been to that has gluten free bread on hand!!) I had a Surfer sandwich, which had lots of meat, lots of avocado, and the right amount if cheese and lettuce. Very tasty. I will definitely return.

On our way through Fairfax, my husband and I decided to stop at Perry’s for a quick breakfast. We ended up with the breakfast sandwiches. Both were great, my husband especially loved his. It was early but Mike and Tina were a pleasure to visit. Great breakfast, great people. We really like this place and will be back again to try the lunch menu! Wish I had a local place like this were I live!

I come to Perry’s often for their delicious burgers and fries. Their menus are easy to understand and the food is cheap and tasty. I would most definitely recommend this place for it’s sandwiches, too. The people that work here are nice and friendly. This place is excellent to go to after a hard mountain bike ride.

I almost never write reviews, but after my most recent experience at Perry’s I need to. I had gone to this deli a couple times before and gotten sandwiches, which were okay, but kinda bland. Recently I went and ordered a burger, and when they gave me my food I noticed that they have me a vegetarian burger. I went up to the counter, and politely asked them to replace it because I had ordered something else, and because I was allergic to the flax seeds in the vegetarian patty. The man working told me that it was too late to fix my order, because I had already accepted it, and that there was no way he would replace it. I tried to explain why any other reputable deli would have not argued with me, and given me a new burger with a smile, but the man refused. As I was about to throw out my food while walking out the door, an older lady said that she heard everything and disagreed with what they said, and that she would take my food if I was going to throw it out. At least it went to a good cause, I guess.

Bad attiitude. Good food — yes. However Tina, the OWNER needs to take a step back and ask herself if she should continue to work the front counter & answer phones. I’ve encountered her rude, snarky attitude several times now and I’m DONE! It just ruins the experience & leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It’s just not worth it… there’s no «Hello», no «Thank you» and never a smile. Instead, there are smirks and sarcastic laughs if you ask anything. It’s just not ok. The kids who work there are great, and I hope they learn how NOT to act, by her example. By the way, I am a professional by day and a bartender by night — and if I treated anyone in that manner — clients and customers alike, I would be out of 2 jobs! Suck it up, be nice — or lose more customers. It’s your karma!

This is one of my favorite sandwich places ever since I was kid, but today my girlfriend and I got sandwiches and didn’t have a great experience. We got our sandwiches to go me a pastrami(was delicious) and her a Perry’s ranch we got home and my gf opened her sandwich and There was hardly any meat. I mean two slices of deli cut chicken breast and not even through the whole sandwich. I cant even explain how ridiculous it was or even how someone could make it. It was honestly as thin as a McDonald’s cheeseburger. I spent 18 dollars on two sandwiches and no drinks or anything else and to get that really made me upset. I’ve never been disappointed from a sandwich there before but after today really have to think twice if I’m gonna go again. I really don’t want to give this place one star but this made me so upset that I had to make a Unilocal account :(

I’m in fairfax for lunch after a nice hike at cataract falls. I’m looking around for a place to eat and I have to be a bit picky because I have my little doggy with me. I found Perry’s deli. A perfect spot because they have an outdoor patio. I ordered a pesto burger. It was fresh and tasty. My friends ordered sandwiches and they were all pretty good too. Good size and just hit the spot. A fun little spot for good sandwiches and relaxing time.

I love this deli. On a stressful morning, I buy my son breakfast here before school and they ALWAYS have everything ready. Also, I buy school lunches when i forget to pack one and they completely accommodate me. They put his lunch in a sack, supply me with a pen to write his name etc. Most important, they are so friendly. This is one of the places that my 13 year old son can go and they treat him with respect. So many times my son tells me that counter help get mad or impatient with him. Not Peris… they ask him how things are going, ask him about sports adn actually talk to him. He feels comfortable here. I love this deli.

While pricey, I think a lot of other Unilocalers are forgetting that this is just about one of the cheapest places to grab lunch in Fairfax without sacrificing flavor. This is Marin County and, no matter how you argue it, cheap just isn’t in the regional vocabulary. DERP. I like the sandwiches very much. It’s affordable to grab one of the specials, a can of soda, and a $ 1 bag of chips. Friends have told me that the burgers here are pretty awesome as well, but I can’t personally attest to that fact. Oh, and they have a really good selection of different obscure soda brands sold individually, also a plus. The only thing is that, while some of the staff are TOTAL sweethearts(the girls, namely), some employees are just stone cold and emotionally void upon interaction. I wouldn’t say they’re MEAN, but it’s nonetheless off-putting when a scowling cashier answers flatly and stares through me while I’m thanking him with my biggest smile. I know that it’s not a 4-star sit-down restaurant, so I usually shrug it off, but I often leave wondering if I’ve done something to offend them. My boss comes here too and encounters the same thing, so I guess it’s not personal.
