Peet’s coffee is better than Starbucks in my opinion. Whenever I have Starbucks there is always little bits of ice, as to peet’s coffee there isn’t and it’s refreshing

Great Place to study and chill! Close to George Mason University too making it convenient. The coffee and overall customer service is better than Starbucks too.

Friendly, cozy environment, excellent coffee full of flavor. Plenty of seats to chill and relax while you enjoy your coffee or tea. Great customer service, everyone is very friendly here.

I usually can’t get a blond coffee on Sunday mornings. I asked about an app and a cashier told me they had one. That was about 6 months ago. So I get the app and drop money onto it, but find out this location doesn’t use the app … yet. We asked if they were going to get it, and the girl said, ‘I’m thinking so.” Really? And you forgot to give me my coffee too. This location is more pricey for smaller portions of coffee. At least you could remember to put some hot coffee in a cup and give it to me, or is that too difficult for your «baristas»? Makes me want to quit drinking coffee. Prove me wrong, please. #atleasttheyreconsistent

Coffee is good everytime, always come in to a very friendly staff! Great customer service, and the coffee comes QUICK!

I’ve been to Peets a handful of times now and figured a review was due. This Peets is spacious than other Peets that I have been to in the area. There are plenty of places to sit and work. Wifi is available which is always a plus.
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their coffee. On this day, I ordered a peppermint mocha which I happily sipped while I worked. I’ll admit I still miss Caribou Coffee but the transition to Peet’s has been smooth. Good option for coffee in this area.

Very friendly customer service and relatively quiet place to meet people or to get some work done. Prefer Peets over Starbucks coffee any day.

The taste isn’t as sweet as Starbucks, that’s good, but it isn’t quite up to par either. The pricing is a little too much .
The location is good, parking is good, it’s small and cozy inside, good for studying or sippin’ on coffee, but still not a place I would choose to go for studying or coffee if I had the choice.

An alternative to Starbucks that is equally satisfying.
Starbucks may be the top coffee shop today but Peet’s is slowly rising to be its top competitor.
Not only is their regular coffee stronger and better, it doesn’t have that awful aftertaste that Starbucks can sometimes have. I sometimes opt for tea and even though the tea I get is only seasonal here, it’s still amazing. It’s the jasmine lime iced tea, which still has a lot of the tea flavor combined with a refreshing lime. As a tea enthusiast, I recommend trying this.
Peet’s is around the same price as Starbucks can be. It’s inexpensive to me but depends on how important coffee and tea is to you. I love that it is near NVCC because sometimes the bookstore café is just terrible. I would much rather come here if I really need my fix at a better quality for the same price.
They have a lot of unique drinks to try too, so if you’re used to Starbucks then they have similar drinks but in different forms. Give it a try and you might even become a regular.

This store was my first Pete’s Coffee encounter. I did find the staff pleasant and the coffee, even better. However, there are some things that did bother me a bit, if not more than I wanted it to.
The price for the same size of a similar coffee/​special lattes are more expensive than Starbucks/​other coffee shops.
The wifi, as someone have mentioned before, is non-​existent. It’s been months now since I first step into this particular store and it’s still the same. I had to connect to a neighboring store to get the wifi signal that I needed for my laptop.
The last thing that bugs me (literally) is the pastry that is laid out in the open air. I saw multiple gnats flying and roaming around one of the pastry that was on display. I don’t know if this is a major health issue or not but at some point, someone’s have to point this particular problem out, right?

Another Peet’s, another great coffee. I can’t say it enough that Peet’s is THE place for a coffee experience. Inside is remarkably clean, friendly staff and a comfortable inside setting, like you’re at home.
This parking lot in front of the shop is mostly 15 min parking, but if you move over to the side lot you can have regular parking for however long you’d like.
There is TONS of shops near by, so if you’re in the area, don’t think twice about stopping by and seeing your friends a Peet’s!

The service is amazing here. The ice coffee somehow didn’t taste like coffee. Must have been run down with ice but then again I like strong coffee. I’m sure the coffee will be better next time as I could taste hints of the coffee which tasted really good

Came to Fairfax this morning to buy my son’s uniform & stumbled upon Peet’s Coffee around the corner. Peet’s!
I have to stop by & glad I did. Bought Mango Sunrise tea & Iced Caramel Macchiato w/​almond milk & it was the best! Their Macchiato is just right! Not like Starbucks which is way to sweet for my taste. And the Mango Sunrise is delish!
The place is nice & clean & their 2 barista’s are friendly. I wish they open up in Woodbridge so I have a place to go other than Starbucks. I prefer their coffee than Starbucks. So Peet’s Coffee, please come to Woodbridge & we’ll welcome you with open arms.

i’m always coming in here to drink a coffee. i really love there, but there are two points which discomforting me.
Firstly, their cleaning stuffs have ammonia. Therefore, i couldn’t take a breath when they were cleaning around with those stuffs
Secondly, they’ re closing to store so earlier. That’s why we have to go the other cafes for hanging out with our friends

I’m giving this place three stars because I can’t think of anything more frustrating trying to use a coffee shop’s Internet that just doesn’t work! Every coffee shop’s marketing campaign is, «Come hang out, do work, and drink coffee!» As Jay & Silent Bob would say, It’s all a big ruse! I’m using my phone’s hotspot to write since the wireless isn’t working here.
I’m a network engineer and I see these problems every day. It’s usually a crappy wireless controller or DHCP Server (not DHCP issue this time). Places like get the crappiest equipment just to say they have free wireless. But don’t get me wrong, they probably paid an arm and a leg for some expensive contractor.
I’ll give them the extra stars because I DO think their coffee is the best you can get around here, chain or not. Their food offerings need some work though. It’s basically some cookies and muffins, and bread. They should get some ideas from Au Bön Pain which does a great job with pastries. I know some people may disagree with my review but too bad! It’s my review, write your own! :)
Update: Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again today. Same result. Internet almost works for about 20 seconds and then dies. I couldn’t even finish a speed test. Just sat there for 5 minutes at 0.11 Mbps which is probably being generous because I could barely get any data through (
). I really want to downgrade to 2 stars because I don’t feel this is «A-​OK» as Unilocal calls 3 stars.

I come here before work at least once a week. Everyone is really nice! Brian even remembers me haha. I love that you get $ 1 off your next purchase every time you take their survey. I love that they have almond milk.
When I go to Starbucks, I always get the same caramel macchiato, but it taste like I’m ordering a different drink every single time. But at Peets, it’s the same deliciousness!
I have a Starbucks reusable cup, and I cross out their logo with a permanent marker and put Peets on it. I’m defiantly a Peets promoter. I wish they have their own reusable travel cups.

Customer service provided here is the best I’ve experienced ever at any Peet’s. I’m a regular and I have always been greeted with enthusiasm right before I even reach the counter. The employees usually make some small talk, and they have great recommendations even though I usually just order a ice coffee to-​go.
The entrance area is very spacious, and well-​furnished. The couches are roomy and super comfortable, so this café makes it very welcoming for students! However, I tried studying here once and the wireless connection was really weak so I had to leave in order to finish my work. But don’t let that situation deter you from studying there; the windows and low volume of customers during most of the day makes it fairly easy to study.
Specialty drinks are very sweet, and I suggest that if you are lactose intolerant, order your drinks with almond milk! Their salads are my favorite when I’m in a rush for class too, like the lentil salad. The vinaigrette makes it a bit tangy but overall the lentils are dense and filling enough, and pairs perfectly with the other toppings (cheese, tomatoes, etc.).

Great experience. Peet’s has always been my favorite of the coffee chains out there. Having spent a lot of time in California, I missed Peet’s and was excited to hear they were coming to our area.
This Peet’s was extremely clean and had great coffee and tea. The service was great and the baristas were very friendly. They took the time to explain some new items and make recommendations.
I’m definitely going back!

Thank you California, for always making me a Peet’s Coffee fan– a chain I can count on! This specific location was no different. The service was excellent, drink made in an adamant amount of time, definitely a café vibe. It was around 3:30-ish when I went so there were people lounging, working on school work or work, people chatting and it was quiet enough that I heard music in the background. I’ve heard a lot of good review at this new popular coffee place and I expected amazing drinks. After I visit and order my «beverage», I got a sip of the drink, And I was so disappointed. The green tea latte (sweeten) is not good at all. The drink have no taste or flavor, it does not taste like matcha green tea. So I get a new drink called matcha green tea freddo (frap), it tasted much better than the latte but comparing it to Starbucks, it suck. My friend got the coffee and coconut latte, and it does not taste good either.
The place is nice and chill to hangout but not the coffee, the tea is good though. The barista is very friendly but I would not come back again.
