Shop is pretty small and they mostly just carry pipes and a few bongs. There are some posters and CDs as well as the usual rolling papers. This place was a bit more obvious about it’s real purpose than most stores as what do you really need to hide a scale for? Let alone inside a faux cd case with multiple covers. Rather pricy for some reason but good luck finding another head shop nearby unless you head over to SF. They also won’t accept anything but cash.

I bought my first«tobacco» pipe here when I was 17 years old. I paid $ 30 for a pipe that may have cost me $ 10 or $ 15 on Haight St or Telegraph… but that wasn’t the point, the point was I was in a smoke shop and I was buying stuff! ILLEGALLY! I still remember my hand shaking nervously as I handed over the cash, tensely waiting for my change… hoping that at the last second he wasn’t going to ask to see my ID. He didn’t. Because he doesn’t card ANYONE, so if you’re under 18 and in need of a smoking utensil go to Objects of Pleasure, because Purple Haze might actually have cool glass at better prices, but they won’t let your 17-year-old punk ass into their establishment. Most of the glass here sucks, but for the memories… I’ll give it 3 stars.
