A giant steamed bun filled with beef and pork for $ 2? Yes please. It also comes with a small co trainer of soy sauce. Id like to get their homemade dumplings to take home.

Good food but a bit slow on the service and somehow they had forgotten a part of our order. It was no biggie at the time because we were in no rush but it could get annoying if I’m in a hurry.

Decently priced and especially tasty buns. I love the bao buns from here and if I’m ever in the mood for a cheap tasty bun, I think of the Mandu Factory.

Had the kimchi and pork mandu and they were great. I thought one would not be enough for me, but it turned out to be plenty. Will definitely hit it up again when I’m in the area.

Food was okay. I had a kalbi bao dumpling(1 for $ 3) and the meat was a little mushy.

Delicious steamed or fried 10 dumplings for $ 7. They also offer Bubble Tea(Boba) in 7 different flavors for $ 3.63. Located in the food court inside H Mart. They sell frozen dumplings as well so you can take and cook them at home.

Rating just based on the quality and taste of the mandu. This shop is located directly inside the Fairfax Super H Mart. The mandu tastes great and fresh. You can order it steamed or fried for the regular mandu. The Wang mandu or bao dumpling come steamed and are delicious. I tried the Kalbi which was pretty good. Pricing is also reasonable.

Mandu Factory has several locations throughout the US, all set inside the H Mart grocery stores. This one is located just when you walk in the entrance to Super HMart in Fairfax, the first ‘eatery’ to your right in the food court(there’s no sign, but the menus are posted which features the different types of dumplings). The menu offers: Bao Dumplings(bigger-sized with dough-like buns; ‘jjin bbangs’), Red Bean Jjinbbang(filled with sweet red bean), and Steamed & Fried Dumplings(gyoza-sized). The fillings they have available are: Pork and Beef, Vegetable, Kimchi, Chives, Chicken & Curry, and Galbi. The Baos are $ 2, or 6 for $ 10; galbis, since they’re the ‘specials,’ is 1 for $ 3. The red beans are $ 2 each, or 6 for $ 10. The steam/fried dumplings are only offered in ‘bulk,’ which are 10 for $ 7(galbis are 10 for $ 10). Once you decide, you walk over to the ‘Evergreen’(the eatery right next to it) and tell them what you want and pay for it there(Mandu Factory doesn’t have their own cash register). Bring the receipt over and show it to the staff; they’ll get you the warmed ones, put it in the individualized dumpling bags, and then that’s it. I ordered a Kimchi ‘Bao,’ as I was craving for a ‘Wang Mandoo’(the bigger mandoos). I highly suggest in eating these right away, as the enclosure of the bag makes it all steamy and can get your dough a little slimy. The size of the bao was definitely generous; the filling was chopped up kimchi and veggies, with a little bit of vermicelli noodles. The kimchi was fermented enough, had a nice kick, but it was definitely off in the ratio(prefer it to have more filling). I was curious about the galbi one, but they ran out T__T I am not sure if I’d go back, but I can see how many would enjoy this little steamed treat to-go, while doing some grocery shopping. +first eatery to your right in the food court(by the entrance) +baos, fried and steamed dumplings +6 different fillings available +Baos are $ 2 each +Steamed/Fried Dumplings — only offered as a 10-piece set

I’m taking service out of the equation because it’s in a korean supermarket food court. It is a pill to pay for the fluffy pieces of heaven — but worth the pain. As a Korean from California, everything in the DC area has paled in comparison. The addage — it’s good for DC — has come into play for almost everything ethnic in the DMV. Mostly because the cost/quality ratio here just can’t compare to California. It might be amazing — but you pay for it. But these dumplings. Oh. My. God! Let’s put it this way, I brought 4 of the mini buns to work with me today. I was suppose to eat 2 before noon and 2 after noon. I started eating them at 9. And by 9:30 all 4 of them were gone and I feel like I need to take off my pants at my desk because I’m so full. You get 6 «mini» dumplings for $ 7 and 2 will fill you up. Everything is very fresh and delicious. And if you don’t like them, please just send them to me. Feed a starving korean in DC.

Only the best tasting food on the planet! The mixed meat is fabulous and the kimchi. Flavored ones are great. I could eat these every day. I want one of these places closer to me. 4 stars only because you have to pay thru evergreen, and the staff there seems to find it aggravating to get your order from m.f. and put it on your tray with the rest of your order.

Wow, what a great surprise! Going into the food court section of Super H to get my budae jjigae fix, I passed this counter that I hadn’t seen before. It’s a Mandu pickup place where they have both individual jjim bbang mandus and also the regular kind that you can fry or steam that they sell frozen in packs of 40. Everything seems homemade and it looks like it’s a chain with locations throughout the NE but only one in this area. I got a frozen pack of 40 large kimchi pork dumplings and they gave me three large jjimbang samples. I don’t remember what the three were called when he gave them to me but one for sure is red bean and the other is kimchi and the other I think is beef. I’ve attached photos. Delish!
