Had the wonton soup and the Hunan shrimp for lunch one day. They were super fast, and the food was delicious. Good value for the food quality and amount. May give it a repeat visit in the future. It’s nothing unique, but there is such a thing as bad Chinese food, and this is definitely on the upper end of the yum scale.

Been to Lo’s several times now for takeout. Each time I was politely greeted, my order taken, and ETA provided. The food has been consistently good with plentiful portions and nicely flavored. Lo’s is the go to spot when the Chinese food mood strikes.

I’ve been coming to Lo’s for around ten years now and have yet to be disappointed by the service. Whether you’re getting takeout or eating there the food is always as ordered and with a smile. I also enjoy that this place has the traditional American Chinese food with no frills and no msg. The prices are also pretty reasonable and the portions are great. If you’re looking for good Chinese look no further — there isn’t better sweet and sour soup or General tsaos around.

I went to eat at this restaurant with my employess, the food it was ok, but the worst part of the restaurant it was the service, the waitress, it was so annoying at the time to pay my bill, the total amount it was $ 25.50 and I pay with 40 dollars bills. the the waitress, bring back my change only ten dollars. been rude with us. He never ask any permission to take my change as tip, He automatically took my many $ 4.50 as tip, that is not nice at all.

My family and I have been coming here for years; it’s our go to place for chinese. They have a good variety of dishes and my personal favorites are the duck and pepper steak. The service is usually very attentive, and the food is good on a consistent basis. If you like Chinese food; you want to give this place a try!

This place is no frills. Which is fine with me and all their regulars because the food is always great. It’s American style Chinese at its best. If you like the basic Chinese — sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, etc. you’ll love this place!

Our«Go to Place» We discovered this through friends, and have since moved farther away. Our search for Chinese Food always uses Lo’s as our gold standard. We have not done delivery, we always order in. The service is excellent, the staff attentive, the water and tea is refilled before half empty. The food: we typically get pork with green beans, Mongolian Beef, Lo mein and fried rice with chicken and all are delicious. Our choice appetizer is the pork dumplings. Not sure why the negative reviews, but we now drive past 7 other Chinese places to go here.

I like Lo’s because they deliver — huge selling point. I think their food is pretty great when you’re in the mood for American-style chinese food. My fiancé loves the lettuce wraps.

We’ve been there a couple of times. First time I was alone and ordered their mongolian beef, I was so disappointed and swore never come back. Then my parents visited me and found their sunday buffet. They seemed to like it. but I just couldn’t believe in them. One sunday, dragged by my dad and he promised me the lunch was on him, and I cannot resist a free lunch, so that’s my second time. Not too many selections, but at least it had shrimp, fried chicken, and orange chicken my favorite. The buffet also came with soup, egg-drop or spicy and sour. it tasted okay. after that we had a few more buffet overthere. We tried their dinner menu once. had beef with green pepper, lamb with spring onions, moo shi pork, Eggplant Szechuan Style, seafood soup. except the eggplant was too sweet, other dishes were fairly good in speaking of americanized chinese food. buffet is about $ 8/person. btw: the seats are so cramped, i can barely move once seated. it’s kind of a pain that I have to nudge the seat back to make more room, luckily no one seats behind… then, my wife joined us for a few times, and then my kid. staffs were very friendly and played with my 18 month old by giving him a colorful little decorating umbrella.

I so amazed by how easy it is to order Gluten free here. They take extra care to make sure our food isn’t cross contaminated. It is now our go to restaurant to eat at. We love PF Changs but it’s pricey, LO’s doesn’t hurt our wallet. They don’t have a GF menu but let them know what your wanting and they will make it gluten free, just nothing breaded but they will let you know if they can’t make it gluten free, but really they can make a lot of item GF.

I don’t know what these people are talking about! I’ve eaten here 3 times in the last 2 months and everything has been delicious. The General Tso’s is amazing. Great meat to breading ratio and a little hot but not excessively so. The beef in the Beef and Broccoli was flavorful and tender and the dumplings were enormous. Very large portions on everything. I was very surprised by the crummy reviews here. I recommend to all my friends when we’re in the mood for some good food.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was really young. My favorite Chinese place! Delicious food, great customer service. They got to know my family and I really well because we ordered from there so often, and they had our order memorized after awhile :) The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel at home. Great restaurant.

The food that I ordered(veggie fried rice an sweet and sour chicken) was very gross! The rice was dry and tasteless. The chicken had a weird taste to it. I would love to go into the kitchen and see how old the food is! Even the diet coke I had tasted gross!

Atmosphere is comforting but food quality is junk! When we say junk, we mean it! I’m surprise this place is still in operation.

Absolutely disgusting. I will never eat here again even if someone paid me. The chicken and broccoli tasted and looked like cardboard pieces and the wontons in the wonton soup had nothing in them, just flour. The soup tasted bland with a hint of dirty tap water. How on earth has this place managed to survive all these years?

I was craving lettuce wraps and shrimp lo mein with a side of meat dumplings but was extremely disappointed with everything I got and I never have had any issues with Chinese food before. The lettuce wraps had no flavor or spices and they only gave me two pieces of lettuce. So sad right now. And the shrimp in the flavorless lo mein wasn’t even devined or cleaned! Bad sign. The meat dumplings were ok, again not much flavor. So disappointed– plus they said my location was too far to deliver– 2.3 miles? Really?!

It’s been a minute but today I craved Kung pao chicken. It was good just a bit salty and the fried rice was over cooked!

This place is in a strip mall and has booths along the sides of the dining room and tables in the middle. It isn’t big, but I was here for lunch, so it wasn’t busy and we were seated right away around noon. The food? It was ok. Typical salty chinese food… tastes AWESOME when you’re craving it, and pretty good when you’re not. I went for lunch, and they had some decently priced combination lunch deals from $ 6.95-$ 7.95. The problem I had with all of their options for lunch is that there were zero vegetarian options. Usually most Chinese restaurants have a tofu option. This place had nothing. I asked our waitress for the snow peas and mushroom dish. She said«beef?» Me: «no beef». Waitress«beef?» Me…“no beef”(pointing to the dish on the menu which didn’t have beef indicated anywhere). Waitress«It’s beef». Me: «NO Beef». Chimes in Dining Companion«they have options in the menu for vegetarian options.» Waitress… mass confused look on her face. Finally, the hostess came over and said something to waitress in Chinese and must have explained«NO beef» because then the light bulb went off. …who’s on first LOL? Anyway, the food was good, but there wasn’t any chopsticks on the table and we weren’t offered any. I was afraid to ask for any as I didn’t have the energy to enter into another«beef» conversation. I couldn’t remember the last time I ate Chinese food without chopsticks, it was quite odd. The staff was very nice, and I can’t fault them for the language barrier. Its not like I know Manderin, so hey, props for knowing two languages when I only know one. Overall, I would recommend checking this place out for cheap, average Chinese food as long as you aren’t a vegetarian.

This is for the delivery service that I had ordered for the family yesterday. The pork fried rice had no flavor, the rice was mushy. My daughter’s beef and veggies tasted like the beef had too much corn starch, and she said the white rice didn’t taste right. My wife’s chicken and cashew had no flavor as well. On to the Wonton Soups. They tasted bland and needed flavor big time. My wife said it tasted like water with yellow food coloring added to it. The egg rolls were dry inside and not too much in the taste factor as well. Placed the order, and the person on the other end said it would take about 35 — 40 minutes. Said fine. Was on the computer, and I hear a tiny knocking at my door about 20 minutes later. Open the door, and the delivery guy was there. Thanked him and started to eat. Could not believe that they charged us $ 45.00, which was over priced for the quality of the food they had delivered to us. It was more expensive than other places that we have either eaten at, or had delivered from, or take out. Will not order from here again, and I would recommend you do the same. My wife and I grew up in N.Y.C., and we know what real Chinese food should taste like since we have been to Chinatown back home often enough to know very good chinese food, and bad. Hopefully one day, we can find a place that had very good chinese food in NoVA.

The owner and wait staff were very friendly. They serve pretty authentic cuisine as well as your typical American Chinese food. I went on a Friday evening, and there were a fair amount of people eating there. The Peking Duck was really good, and the steamed fish was fresh as well. We had several other dishes as well, but I can’t remember what they were since I wasn’t the one ordering. They also offer free delivery within 3 miles with a $ 15+ order!
