Hooters

Went for my brother’s birthday. I had low expectations given other reviews but it wasn’t so bad. The wings were probably the best and we especially enjoyed the chipotle honey flavor.
I also tried the nachos and it was just ok. The cheese was curdling. Hubby got the crab legs too and said they were just ok. Stick with the wings.
They had several birthdays and the waitresses came and did a song and cheer for them all. There is a little bit of a wait but again not terrible at least on a Wednesday. Place is clean and new looking.

I once spoke to the Director of Training at Hooters Corporate, she informed me the waitresses are part entertainers, yet had multiple waitresses say not a word to me other than to take my order. Do they think people actually come for the food?
Also, had one of the assistant managers tell me I wasn’t allowed to discriminate on the basis of attractiveness as to who I choose to sit with. Are you kidding? What exactly does Hooters think they promote if not attractive and fun waitresses? I HAVE to sit with a waitress I consider unattractive, no thanks I’ll just leave and you won’t have my business/

The place had maybe 4 tables at the time and it took 30 minutes to get drinks and then another 45minutes to get our food. Food was cold when we got it and tasted terrible, but it’s hooters so it’s not my biggest complaint. The service was the ABSOLUTE worst. Servers were more interested in treating their regulars than us.

Had a great experience today with the bartender, Emily! She was very helpful! Definitely coming back.

The Location. Has a park with playground directly behind the restaurant. Kid gets play time, then lunch. Convenient routine for a weekend. Bathrooms are clean; tables are clean; floor is clean. New is nice.
The Food. Typical Hooters but served hot only 3 of 6 times, warm the other 3 times. I can deal with that; it’s still good. Burgers always well-​done when requested medium; I stopped ordering the full size burgers. The sliders are fine as well-​done.
The Staff and Service. Out of 6 visits to this new location on Saturday mornings, 4 are memorable. The first two visits weren’t bad, but not the great Hooters experience you envision from the staff. The last 4 visits: Sammy, Kathy, Nikki, Whitney… great job taking care of me and my youngling. Sammy was conversational and welcoming; my kid remembers her every time he sees her. Kathy was impressively kind and attentive during a really busy hour; it was obvious a new staff was being spun up; she was helping out everywhere she could. Nikki did well under pressure of Memorial Day promotion event. Whitney was fast with the order and accommodated changes easily.
I’d give it 5 stars, but during my visits, I’ve seen things… People that were already seated with orders got their meals long after me. Others that were ahead of me waited a long time just to get their orders taken; others waited a long time to receive their check. Once, I let one of the waitresses know that a couple was unsuccessful in trying to waive down their waitress several times; they were neglected for quite a while. Family of 6 walked in, no one greeted them; they left after a 30 seconds of standing at the front; there was no staff around except the bar tender. I chalk it all up to new staff. If the rest of the team follows Kathy’s example (she was really Johnny-​on-​the-​spot with the ammo), I think the ratings might improve significantly.
I worry about drawing the short straw on the next visit, but we’ll keep coming here as long as our experience is good.

This was my first time at this Hooters location, and sadly it will probably be my last. Went with my friends and husband, craving for some juicy wings (should have stuck to BWW). We got sat at a table very fast but unfortunately the server didn’t come to our table til about 15 minutes later. I was very tempted to go to the host stand to see if anyone will serve us…
Anyways, the drinks took forever to come out — the food came out cold and looked nothing like the menu.
The orders were mixed up and I don’t think the server paid attention like she should have.
She offered me another drink… totally forgot about it. By that time we just wanted the check and to get out… we were paying the bill and she asked if I wanted my other drink. NO, NO THANK YOU!
WILL NOT RETURN HERE

The only positive thing I can say about this location is that the food tastes good — when you get it.
I’ve been four times since they moved down the block and I’m beginning to think they must be retrieving the food from the other kitchen. What else could explain the crazy long waits for basic orders when the place isn’t even busy? What else could explain the orders for a table coming out at a different time for each person so one person gets their food 10 minutes before the next?
I suppose it wouldn’t be so bad if the staff was attentive. But they aren’t. They are nice when they come to the table but you could easily sit for 20 minutes waiting for your food or a drink refill with no contact from the wait staff.
I don’t even go for the boobs. I’m gay.
Gave it a solid chance. Won’t be going back.
(Oh, and the selection for the jukebox sucks and is obviously designed to annoy women and gay men.)

Great service and a great ambience! Beautiful ladies serving some great food and drinks. Been here only once and had a wonderful experience.

This is me and my friends first time at this restaurant since the old one, first of all the old one didn’t have any interest in the customer basically they tried to get me out of there as soon as possible, but at this one our waitress Zainah was wonderful our food came out fast and she kept returning to or tables to check on our drinks and how our food was, basically this girl made me and my friends make this our usual hooters appreciate it.

I kind of wished I read the reviews before going to this Hooters. Location is great but it’s the only nice thing I can say to this poorly organized restaurant. I could already sense fear in our waitresses eyes when I made my first order. Clearly things were disorganized. Most of my party ordered the all you can eat boneless wings, which took nearly 30mins to come out after 3 – 4 attempts on getting our order right. We were never checked on and waters were never filled. I rarely criticize on restaurants service but this was by far the worst experience I’ve encountered.
I would suggest going to another Hooters location if your craving their wings until they get their staff and management to be more experienced.

If I could give this place and the experience zero stars I would. I will never be returning to this location. Being in the service industry I understand when orders get mixed up and I’m pretty understanding when things are busy. This place took my patience to a whole new level. Our order came out wrong about five times, and the server had the nerve to say that we were incorrect. They did not come to check on the table or even bring out my friends order of endless wings. I walked out hungry and extremely disappointed.

Stopped in at the new location for the first the other night to see how exactly it turned out.
We were seated in a timely manner but we’re not served until I believe the manager told the girl that she had our table, Larissa, but she was the only positive experience about this dining experience with Hooters. I was with my girlfriend so I figured maybe that’s why no one wanted to attend us at first glance.
Next, we order a beer each. Unfortunately, her beer which was odd cause I’ve never seen corona on draft had a piece of what looked like a nail floating in the beer. Returned that. Larissa went or of her way to cut us some lemon for her corona and oranges for my blue moon because for some reason the bar was backed up and had no time.
My first visit with hooters was good, food was solid and eatable but not this time. The wings came out cold and the lemon pepper ones were overly season almost impossible to take down. The curly fries were awful! Too much salt that made you clinch your eyes entirely. Supposedly their kitchen have been making mistakes all day, but damn how hard is it to fry up some simple fries and maybe throw the wings in the microwave before sending out!
Not coming back! Nice spot horrible food.

The server originally assigned to our party of five was obviously inexperienced, but failed to complete basic tasks such as: allowing the customers to complete their food order; ask what flavor wing sauce we wanted for our –wait for it– wings; provide glasses or a large straw for our pitcher of beer; refill non-​alcoholic beverages; offered to provide us with limited-​time menus, however after being reminded twice, came back indicating that there were no menus available.
One of our party summarily spoke to the Manager on Duty who quickly remedied our situation and provided us with a new server and helped turn around what was becoming a disastrous experience.

So glad that Hooters has reopened in the previous Outback Steakhouse. Newly renovated and so much light! My husband and I popped in for a late lunch. We were greeted warmly and service from that point on was fantastic. Our meals were good as well. The manager, Rocky, stopped by our table and we had a nice conversation. Hooters will do well in this location with plenty of parking! Can’t wait to go back!

It seems that boyfriends and regulars are more important to the waitstaff than tending to all of their customers. Talk about feeling invisible in a restaurant! The Buffalo Shrimp was cold on top and warm on the bottom, but still decent. The wings were good. The fries were terrible and should be served to anyone else. The table I chose was clear, but sticky. When the waitress cleaned it she left it wet when she should have dried it as well. Not impressed at all with Fairfax Hooters. Don’t go here… disappointment awaits you. Is hugging on and hanging on customers appropriate? I guess so if that’s how you earn higher tips like at a strip club. Kind of shady

Service at this location was great. We had Ashley and she was attentive and super sweet. We ordered wings… Duh. My boyfriend got hot breaded bone in wings and I went with the naked bone in wings in general tso sauce. I was intrigued so Ashley let me try some before I committed to it and it was so good. I know Hooters has had the same look forever but it just looks musty and run down. They are due for an upgrade!

Came here for Nostalgia also and headed to Patriots after like the good olé days haha. The food was great and service was average. The place did not smell very clean tho yikes. What is with all the children and families and especially the screaming babies and toddler. What a joke!!! I would rather go to another location that does not cater as a babysitting service… nothing against Hooters in Fairfax. Just expecting something «adult» in their atmosphere.

Came here to watch the College Football Championship. Crowd was not bad. Food was good but had to repeat my order twice to get everything I had requested initially. Service was lacking. The server was more focused on her regulars than the new guy. I doubt I will come here for the Super Bowl.

I come here for nostalgia. My best buddy and I used to come here years ago until they opened the location in Chantilly. This location is not as vibrant and busy as Chantilly. We met last night for old times sake since my buddy was moving to MD.
For a Friday night, it restaurant lacked the crowds from the old days. About ¹⁄₃ of the place was empty. We hung out for just over 3 hours and it never got busy.
Service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. Although I had just eaten wings the night before (Glory Days), the Hooters wings always seem to hit their mark. They have a large variety of sauces, my favorite being the Spicy Garlic. The menu has a wide variety of options, including a fish sandwich that my buddy enjoyed.
The strip mall where Hooters is located is huge but often not busy. I’m not sure if the other business really draw a big crowd. I’m glad this location has stayed around. I go for the wings, of course.

Halloween night, and my husband and I needed to grab something quick before we took the kids out for their Halloween adventure. Our server was very attentive, and stopped by our table multiple times to make sure we were okay.
You have heard me say on multiple occasions that when eating out with my 5 and 8 year old, we need our drink and food order to be out rather quickly. Hooters did not disappoint. Our server took the kids orders first and put them in, and then came back and got our orders. Everything came out so fast.
Customer service is quite important to me. It is a determining factor as to whether or not we will ever come back again.
PS — Whoever said that Hooters is not a family friendly place, needed to stop by this evening. There were several people there with their children this early evening.
