When Tim first opened his pizza was«tops», thin crust, cooked right, but the last couple of times we have had his pizza, the crust has been soggy and undercooked, the sauce has changed, the service I consider very good, but obviously no pride or guidance in the preparation, must be doing alright though I see he is sporting a «new» Dodge Charger, hope he put a good down payment, lots of dissatisfied customer, one thing I learned in my 36 years of business is that when you lose a customer in a small town it is hard to get them back and how many people do they relate there dissatisfaction 2.

Terrible service and pizza. Way over priced. You are better off getting a flat bread frozen pizza for less $.

I LOVE pizza, but save your money. The pizza here is GROSS. I’d rather pick some up from a local gas station if I want crappy pizza. I ordered the bbq chicken. I think he cook must’ve dumped an entire bottle of sauce on the crust. It was so strong, we couldn’t even eat it. We tried. It was awful. We might as well have been eating bbq sauce with a spoon.

We’ve eaten here several times, and even my kids who aren’t discerning eaters(usually more concerned with volume than with quality) don’t like the place. The pizzas are really greasy, and the crust is the same soggy stuff that comes out of a million other suburban pizza joints. It’s not inedible, but if we want good pizza, we’ll go somewhere else. If they’d offer some kind of decent thin crust/wood fired option, that’d improve things dramatically. The place is very clean and the staff perfectly friendly, it’s a shame that the food isn’t very good.

I will start by saying that I am from New Jersey(pizzaland) so I know what good pizza should taste like. That being said there are a few spots in vermont that make a decent pie. Fairfax house of pizza is not one of those places. If zero stars was an option it would have been my rating. The pizza I ordered from there recently was inedible. I asked for it to be well done and it was barely cooked. There was about twice as much dough as there should be for a pizza that size. And the kicker is that the dough had a sour funk about it as if it were fermented from sitting in the walk-in for too long. This was my second time trying it and most definitely my last. The first time was just as bad but I thought«maybe I just caught them on an off night» I should support my local businesses. Pizza is a pretty hard thing to screw up but for some reason this area just cannot make a good pie. I make an infinitely better pizza in my oven at home for about a quarter of the price.

Awful – we ordered a large pizza easy cheese and well-done, neither of these requests were fulfilled. Ended up with a soggy mess that needed to be thrown away. Small veggie pizza was also not well done. $ 33 wasted.

Ordered a large pizza last night half pepperoni half cheese. Got there to pick it up and they had a medium BBQ chicken pizza ready. They made a new pizza and didn’t cook it fully. It was unbeatable. The center of the pizza was still uncooked dough. We will not be going back.

The pizzas are okay. Being that there are pretty much only pizza places in town, I gave it two stars when you size it up against the competition. We found the pizza to be pretty greasy generally, to the point that it wasn’t appetizing after eating a serving. The staff a generally very nice any time we’ve gone. They have a liquor license, which makes it the only sit down, drink a beer spot in town.

Drove by here a lot going to St. Albans, so today we decided to stop, we ordered a Large bacon, onion, garlic cheese pizza; and some mozzarella sticks. The sticks were good, ranch for them was good. The pizza was better than Angelina’s though. But a bit too greasy, couldn’t pick the slice up without it falling apart.

The pizza here is great. Hours listed are apparently a bit subject to change… When your hours listed on the weekends are until 9pm, you should be able to call at 8:30 and order a pizza… Disappointing to say the least when they are pretty much the only game in town. Stick to what you advertise.

When Fairfax House of Pizza first opened the pizza was really good. It had great crust and the perfect amounts of cheese and sauce. The last couple times that we’ve ordered pizza the quality seems to have gone down… First it seemed they were skimping on the cheese and another time there was too much cheese and the pizza was soggy. One time the crust is perfect, the next it is too thick. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency in how they make their pizza. It’s a shame because this is really the only restaurant(where pizza is their specialty) within a 10 – 15 minute drive of Fairfax and there aren’t too many other local restaurants. Updated 04/07/2016 I recently gave Fairfax House of Pizza another try. Not only had prices increased since the last time I was there(50 cents extra for almost everything), the pizza was very greasy and the dough was baked unevenly. The bottom crust was very very thin and the edge crust was very very thick. Since my initial review I’ve found a couple more pizza restaurants within a 10 – 20 minute drive of Fairfax. The quality of the pizza at one of these locations is about the same as Fairfax House of Pizza. One is actually much better. Compared to one restaurant in Cambridge, Fairfax House of Pizza’s prices are very expensive. By comparison the most expensive large specialty pizza in Cambridge is $ 15.95. At Fairfax House of Pizza the most expensive large specialty pizza is $ 23.55. To me, that additional $ 7.60 plus tax makes it well worth it to just drive to Cambridge for pizza.
