Citgo Gas Station and Car Wash

The man who works there at midnight is so kind. I really don’t like the price of the coins operator car wash, it’s too expensive. The problem is, it’s the only coins operator car wash I know in the area.

This review is particularly for their diesel fuel. Diesel at this station is typically less money than anywhere else in the area. Though not always easy to get into this station if on the wrong side of the road, but for the prices of Diesel, it is well worth making the extra trip.

The car wash is a RIP OFF!!! You get 5 minutes for $ 4.50 and an additional 16 SECONDS per extra quarter. Utter waste of money.

Being one of the very few (like ¹⁄₃) Coin operated Car washes in Northern Virginia, this is the one to avoid.
1) Very expensive– $ 4.50 for roughly 4 minutes of wash time. Nearly $ 5 for do it yourself wash? The point of these things is to get a cheaper car wash than the automatic drive thru washes, this one is nearly as expensive.
2) This place is a dump. The equipment is old and for the price you have to pay it is a rip off.
3) There are only 2 wash stalls. So if you want to wash the salt off your car after it has snowed (along with the rest of the population) be prepared to wait.
If you are like me and don’t mind washing your car yourself, don’t go to this car wash. Instead drive up to Sterling and go to the one off Sterling Road and Davis. Much better and $ 2.50 for roughly 4 minutes.
