First off, this place can be a bit of a pain to find if you’re not from around the area, as to its in the basement level of the Sub 1 building, and there’s always a line, and that line can get very big during the afternoon and evening. In the morning to the afternoon, the employees are quick and efficient, the line is always big but it takes a solid 10 – 15 minutes to get your order. This is acceptable because this is a college campus after all and its certainly on par with the other chickfilas I go to. The staff is mostly friendly with its service and in the 20+ times I’ve gone there during my college lifestyle its always been a nice quick stop between classes for lunch. The evenings in the other hand are on par with some of my worst chickfila experiences. First off, the line is massive most of the time with at least 10 – 15 people, so that adds to the wait time. I don’t know why but the last few semesters have had some very unhappy and non gregarious workers work the evenings at this chickfila(I’ve gotten sass from them all the time) and what is most infuriating is that they have gotten my order wrong twice and BOTH times when I ask to talk to them they made me go to the BACKOFTHELINE to wait another 15 – 20 minutes to talk to them about it. Even when I asked for the manager this sassy last just waved me off, a customer. Shameless. I understand college student workers and this isn’t my worst dealings with them but Christ some of those workers need to take some classes in respect, or at least marketing 101 to k ow not to sass your customers… Bottem line: this place is in the basement of Sub 1, never go in the evening, and its great chickfila!

For a non-student, who happens to be visiting GMU for an event on a Saturday, this location was impossible to find. While the weather was pretty nice that day, and so my wife and I enjoyed our unplanned tour of the campus, we were disappointed to not find the CFA. I have no idea what SUB1 is, but there also weren’t any signs around the part of campus that Unilocal /Google Maps indicated was the location. GMU does a good job of posting signs for other licensed vendors, but CFA is hiding. I get that the location may not be open on Saturdays [and of course it isn’t open on Sundays], but don’t tease us with claims of being somewhere that you aren’t, CFA. Stop toying with our feelings that way. ;-)

This is a upgraded Chic Fil A express, let me start off with full disclosure. I love chic fil a food! This location is located inside of the student center normally referred to as SUB1 on George Masons campus. I have been enrolled at mason for three years now and have eaten at this chic fil a dozens of times. The food quality is great and yes there are milkshakes available as of within the last year(thus it’s an upgraded chic fil a express, not a full option chic fil a. I normally order chicken sandwiches, deluxe chicken sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, and nuggets. I normally order fries and a water cup as well. I order the occasional milkshake which is quality as you would expect! So overall it’s great as you would anticipate if you enjoy chic fil a. My only gripe is that they limit you to two sauces even if you order multiple meals. Some cashiers are understanding, some try to charge you. One time she made me complete two different transactions which was simply put. Annoying. P. S. All their sauces are great, with chic fil a sauce being my favorite followed by Polynesian!
