Came here for dessert with the kids and we were appalled by the horrible service. The girl was rude and annoyed that 2 of my kids ordered the same kind of sundae and she was rushing us. She dropped the cup on the floor and still used it for one of the kids. It was obvious that she hated her job since she was complaining about the buy 1 get 1 free milkshake deal. She was wearing a sorority tshirt and looked hungover. Not a kid friendly place at all!

We went in here in the morning about fifteen minutes after it opened and they were completely out of Cinnabons. The manager explained that someone had come in and wiped out her supply for their office. She was very apologetic, but made us fresh Cinnabons as soon as possible. They were delicious! She also gladly filled up our coffee for us while we waited. The wait was well worth it. The fresh Cinnabons tasted fantastic and had generous amounts of icing on them. This is a great little Cinnabon/Carvel with friendly management.

As if a Carvel or Cinnabon by itself wasn’t already enough temptation now both are under one roof! You know what a Carvel is: all flavors of ice cream dribbling down your chin and ice cream mysteriously baked into a cake. You know what Cinnabon is: decadent cinnamon rolls as sweet as it is gooey. Finally this location(as of this writing there’s only one other like it in downtown DC) solves one of life’s pressing questions: what does Cinnabon a la mode taste like? The potential sugar rush is a parent’s nightmare and a kid’s… well a kid’s candy store(sorry).
