I found this shop to be extremely helpful when searching for a new mattress solution. Dillon provided various options and comfort levels to choose from. Always call first to setup an appointment to assure someone will be available when you are. I highly recommend this shop and would definitely shop there again for any needed foam items.

The gentlemen at American Foam Center are some of the nicest professionals I’ve met. My girlfriend needed the foam on her wheelchair seat shaved down and even though they didn’t think they had the tools for it they gave it their best shot and it was a complete success! They definitely have my business for all future needs.

I needed replacement foam for two large long seat cushions. A upholstry shop nearby in Merrifield practically up the the street from this place quoted me $ 250 each and said it would take 1 – 2 weeks. American Foam did with the same quality level foam plus foam wrap for $ 110 each and it only took a couple days even thought they had to special order the size I needed. This is the place to go if you need foam!

American Foam has you covered, homie. Hidden away in a run down business park, this little gem is a fun house of squishiness. They even cut to order with gusto (makes you wonder how working in a foam house became ones career aspiration… anyway…). Any size, any thickness any style.
Bottom line: No swan dives in American Foam Center, they use sharp knives to cut this stuff.

I needed foam for two kitchen chairs I was reupholstering. I googled and found American Foam Center. What a pleasant experience doing business here was! I was at the door waiting for the shop to open on a Saturday morning. The service was great and the price was too. I walked away with my two custom cut replacement cushions about 10 – 15 minutes after I arrived.

American Foam Center specializes in, well, foam. I’ve been to this location to purchase a replacement foam piece for two chairs and recently stopped by to pick up a sheet of acoustic foam for my makeshift home studio. Do you know how difficult it is to find this stuff in the DMV? According to their website, they can also make mattresses for you.
Their Customer service is full of old school hospitality. The store itself is not much to look at, but the staff is helpful with measurements, price quotes and special orders.

This is an independently owned shop that although difficult to find, they far exceeded my expectations in terms of timeliness, quality and service. They were wonderful to work with, I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for foam. They replaced the foam in my sofa cushions, I am extemely pleased and it only took 4 days!
