This location, at the intersection of 123 and 50/29, is both 7 – 11 and Exxon gas station. The only reason why it isn’t a one-star 7 – 11 location is because the gas prices are reasonable compared to other stations in the area, but the same as the Exxon across the street. As a 7 – 11, this place is pathetic. Not because it is smaller than most other 7 – 11 stores, although it is. Not because it has a smaller selection than most other 7 – 11 stores, although it does. Not because the parking lot is normally dirty and the trash bins overflowing, because they are. The reason that this 7 – 11 is horrible, pathetic, and atrocious is because the people who work here are the most incompetent group of imbeciles I have ever had the misfortunate of dealing with at a 7 – 11 store. Ringing drinks up? They suck at it. Getting you a crappy hot dog? Takes five minutes or more. Want a lottery ticket? Good luck with that, it’ll be done by 2056. The many times I’ve been in here have only been because I’ve pulled in for gas first and then decided I might want a soda or bottle of water afterwards. I’d have done better to take the time to drive to the other side of the street as it would have taken less time. The long and short of this is that if you just plan on driving in, getting gas with a card at the pump, and driving back out then you should be fine. If you need to go inside to get anything or even to pay for gas with cash then you are completely screwed.
