I’ve been coming to this post for the last couple years, ever since I got out of the Marine Corps in 2011. From day one I felt exceptionally welcome and at home. There are a bunch of other OIF and OEF vets that are members and a lot of them are even students like me and they give student veterans their first year of membership for free. It’s a great post and you should definitely swing by! Meetings are the first Monday of every month and the 4^th of July BBQ and June Yard Sale are events not to be missed!

I love this post. It’s unlike any other VFW post that I have ever been to. It’s more like a home than anything else.
There isn’t a bar. They don’t smoke inside. The place is filled with Veterans of OIF and OEF (not to mention other generation of veterans).
They made me feel like I was welcomed and that this VFW Post was a place that I could bring my family to for BBQs, events, etc.
