Foy’s Variety Store

REAL DEAL 5 & 10 STORE! Once you’re done checking out all the Halloween pageantry here in downtown Fairborn, take a step (or five!!) back in time to this gem of a store that’s older and more authentic than you and me both! Penny candy, tons of little knick-​knacks and doo-​dads that you really DON’T need, but will get any way because you haven’t seen them in AGES and they bring you back to a simpler time. I bought a Magnetic Mr. Moustache kiddie toy, the one where you drag the magnet across the guy’s face and give him hair and a beard with the metal shavings. Remember that?!? Also grabbed some wax lips, and some glow in the dark signs and a parrot hat (who doesn’t need a parrot hat?!?) along with getting my fortune told for a buck by a gypsy in a box!
Foy’s wouldn’t be Foy’s without Halloween stuff, so there’s more masks, hats, fake blood, fangs, Dracula capes, etc. in case you missed it in their other stores, and a super COOL iguana living in a tank in the back (NOT for sale!!) There’s an interesting history to this place and the Foy’s «dynasty,» and it’s fun to come for a visit and check it out!
