The Tom James Company

Based on other reviews my husband was measured for a sports jacket, paid the deposit and looked forward to the first fitting a couple weeks later. Unfortunately we sat in the parking lot for over half an hour waiting for Mr. Miller. He never showed up — and he never called to let us know he wasn’t planning to.
Well duhhh. .. we tried it again and ordered a couple pair of pants. Apparently nothing was done on that order (besides charging the deposit) so after two months of waiting for the fitting, hearing nothing, writing — a promise to follow up the following day and still nothing we cancelled.
The quality on the jacket he did get was good, a bit of a tailoring snafu that we planned to have repaired when we went for the pants fitting.
Update: After posting this we were contacted by the area manager mid February, who came to the house and remeasured for the pants ordered a couple of months prior. That was over 3 ½ months ago — still nothing has been done. We took the jacket to the corner tailor to have original tailoring repaired (lining hanging lower than the jacket, pockets puckered at the seam)
This place is a joke!

Bart Miller the clothier is amazing. I needed a suit for my husband and wasn’t sure where to go. A friend recommended I try Tom James because they come to you. What– I never heard of a clothier coming to someones house — how rich– I don’t have that kind of money.
Oh how wrong I was. Bart the manager of Tom James came to our home and brought his cloth swatches as we sat on the couch and made our way into my husband’s closet we fell in love with the idea of shopping at home.
The two suits, 7 shirts & underwear came 7 weeks later — you definitely cannot be the instant gratification person — and my husband is a knock out! His shirts are gorgeous and they are so his– he works out religiously and the shirts really cut him perfectly. The underwear is the softest cotton I have ever felt and frankly I would like to get a few pairs.
I am planning on getting a suit this month — so excited to have Bart come and spoil me know.
