The Looking Glass Salon

I love Kim Bainbrige at this salon. She ALWAYS gives me exactly what I ask for. She is very knowledgeable and provides great suggestions. I love the atmosphere of the salon as well. It is very cozy and welcoming.

My FABULOUS hair stylist of 13 years, DORIS SONDROL, left Regent Street salon early 2013 to come here. My first visit here was April 27, 2013. I was so impressed with the fabulous décor & furniture inside the salon.
Doris came here because she has more space & a private room, unlike all salons that have stations right next to each other & so close that you can hear other clients conversations on each side.
I also have a strong sense of smell & allergies, so being in a salon where there are so many stylists all mixing up strong chemicals has always affected my respiratory system. I don’t have that problem @ The Looking Glass;). I’ve been to many high end salon & spas in Folsom, Roseville, Rocklin, etc., ended up being overcharged & paying more then quoted, so annoying!
I have fine naturally curly hair, my natural color is light brown with red highlights BUT my hair is blonde with highlights & lowlights & looks natural with my fair complexion. It’s very hard to find someone good at doing highlights without leaving your hair looking yellow & brassy.
I highly recommend DORIS @ this cute salon & spa! She has so many long time clients that her schedule is always full, so call 2 — 4 weeks in advance. She told me that she has a full schedule from now to Christmas, with a few openings. If she’s not available she highly recommended KAREN.
I hope this was helpful, I rarely write reviews, I don’t have the time with a 1 year old daughter that keeps me real busy but I know how are it is to find a good stylist. She’s also good with children, my stepson hates going to hair salons until he had Doris cut his hair, if I can download the pic from my iPad I will:).

I love this salon. Sally really listens to you and produces what you asked for! I have medium length light blond hair, and I got great cut, plus hilights and low lights. I love the depth and cant stop checking out my new ‘do! Idef will be back again in 6 weeks! They have reasonable rates, the salon is super cute and I love Sally’s personality! This place was recommended to me my a friend, and I recommend it to you!

I love this little salon that is right in the heart of Fair Oaks, CA. Every time I walk up the walk way there are roosters and chickens around the area. It is right across from a cute little park that my daughter likes to play at. I must say Sally has been doing my hair for some time and I just love it. I have had bad experiences in the past with other hair dressers and she is just the best. The salon itself is so cute and always spotless, being a neat freak myself, I really appreciate how clean it is.
