I came in for the first time to see Jeralene the other day because I had been following her work for some time now. Upon coming in, my hair was long, about midway down my back. I decided to go for a texturized lob look (around collarbone length) w/​some color. Jeralene suggested I try some peekaboos (regarding color) since they are low maintenance so I trusted her and just went w/​it– ended up really digging it!
Jeralene definitely knows what she’s doing. She walks you through every step before she does anything and offers a lot of options and her honest opinions, if you ask for it. I don’t trust many people with my hair but her knowledge and her high spirited attitude makes it easy for you to get comfortable, confident, and ultimately excited for a new look.
I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be returning! Thank you, Jeralene!

I’ve been getting my haircut by CHELSEA for about six months now and I always leave feeling amazing!
I used to get really anxious to cut my hair but not anymore because she does exactly what I ask for every time and makes me feel very comfortable.
The salon is gorgeous inside and the staff and all the stylists are super friendly and welcoming!

I went here wanting to get an ombré. I showed the hair lady the picture of the ombré I wanted and I was starting to tell her that I wanted dark brown on top and light brown in the middle but she interrupted me saying she knew what I wanted. And then ended up only giving me blonde on the bottom. She was also pretty rude, I don’t remember her name but she’s blonde.

Jeralene gave me exactly what I envisioned. She took her time and I never felt rushed. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. Go see her and let her work her magic on your hair. She is a true artist.

This review is long overdue, but just finally got on Unilocal.I had my hair cut for the first time by Jeralene a month ago. I have long hair and am very selective about who cuts my hair when I am going for more than just a simple 1 inch trim. I have been looking for a stylist closer to my area who I can go to regularly. I came across Jeralene and looked up her reviews and they were all excellent. I went in to see her and she didn’t disappoint. She cut my hair exactly as I had requested. She also took into account my hair length and texture and made some suggestions that I love. Not only did she do a great job with my hair, but she was so personable and easy to talk to. I felt comfortable immediately. I have already scheduled my next appointment with her. I have found my stylist! Thank you Jeralene!

I came for a haircut on my birthday. Jeralene did an amazing job with my hair. Before she cut my hair it looked like hay lol super damaged. She left my hair looking super bouncy and healthy. Thanks Jeralene

I’ve been to this salon 3 times. All 3 times I got a cut and color by the same stylist. The first time she did a great job. She listened to what I wanted for my color and cut. The following two times she completely changed my color. She asked what I wanted then somehow it came out to be something completely different. I should’ve learned my lesson not going back a 3^rd time, but I didn’t. She changed the color AGAIN. I didn’t like the color, or how much she cut without asking. I had a semi-​mullet shaped cut. The $ 130 for a cut and color was by no means worth it. Neither was the $ 150 to fix it.
I won’t be going back to this salon. It’s very clean, and nice. The front end staff is very friendly, and there’s lots of different products and brands to chose. The staff seems very happy, and the owner has looked happy the 2 times I have seen him. The only bad thing is the rinsing chairs aren’t very comfortable.
Hopefully if you do end up going there you have a much better experience.
I chose not to list who did my hair. She’s trying to make a living, and I can’t see giving her a bad name even if she did botch my hair.

I’d been long over due for even a trim. My hair was slightly past my butt. I decided to donate 11 inches of my hair. It was a tough decision, but I went through with it.
The entire staff was incredibly nice & welcoming with smiles.
I’ve had my eye on Jeralene’s work for a long time. My hair is really thick so it’s hard for me to trust anyone with my hair. She did a phenomenal job. I will definitely be only going to her for as long as possible.
I’m not a fan of anything but really long hair on myself. It’s an adjustment, but when I look in the mirror, I feel pretty. & I can thank Jeralene Nicole for that.

Jeralene Nicole did a cut, balayage, & style on my hair and I absolutely love it. She is so friendly, and took my long damaged hair and turned it into the most lovely honey color. It feels so much healthier and the color is gorgeous.

Bought a Groupon for my fiancé to this salon. She wanted some highlights before the upcoming baby shower. Went in on a Wednesday and paid an extra hundred dollars on top of the groupon I gave her.
Great reviews must not mean anything because the stylist clearly didn’t know how to handle virgin brunette hair. She came home crying with bleach blond highlights in dark brown hair. Wtf. Every one working at the salon lied to her, saying it looked great, even the manager.
She returned a day later to have the color fixed. I told her not to let them bully her into having the same poor stylist try to fix her mistake but that’s exactly what they did. The manager apparently avoided talking to her the entire time, clearly out of shame. They «fixed» the poor job but in my opinion it was amature work, not worth the time, effort, stress, or money paid.
The stress of this embarrassment, right before the baby shower, was so great that we now have a newborn baby 5 weeks ahead of schedule. Good job textures.

I went to this hair salon for the first time and came out completely satisfied at how Jeralene worked with me to get the hair style and color I want. will definitely go back and see her again.

I’m not a girlie girl kind of girl and getting a haircut terrifies me which is why I’ve always kept a long (straight) hairdo 99% of my life. However, I always search for hairstylist who can give me that great «cut» — nothing fancy, just good layering. My search is finally over, Jeralene is my girl. Totally satisfied. She listens and gets what you want. Next adventure would be coloring my hair ;-) Thanks Jeralene!

Went in yesterday to see Jeralene! I shared pictures of what I wanted and she had a great vision for me. I told her that I trusted her with my cut and color and let her do her magic. She has such a creative eye and knows what works for each person. Since I was getting a balayage, Jeralene walked me through the whole process, step by step, so that I knew exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it. My last cut and color was about a year and a half ago, because of my attachment to my hair and trying to find a good stylist who I can trust without charging an arm and a leg. Jeralene is a great listener and wants to make sure her customers leave feeling happy, but she’ll also provide her professional opinion in what would work or not work based on your hair. She keeps it real.
I also like her education on hair care/​maintenance and how to style! Added bonus!
I will definitely be back! Be sure to make an appointment with Jeralene because she does fill up fast, especially on the weekends. Thanks boo!

I live in Vallejo and I came all the way to this salon to get my hair cut, colored and styled by the amazing JERALENE! I’ve seen her photos all over Instagram and her reviews on Unilocal were awesome. Social media did NOT steer me wrong.
I gave her 2 pictures of what I was aiming for and told her that I’m not too good about maintaining my hair so she made a mix of both and did such a good job about explaining the process and her plans BEFORE doing anything. And before I came in she made sure to tell me that it would take a while (since I have long THICK hair) and she told me the price, so I knew exactly what I was coming in for.
She finished faster then I thought she would and I LOVE IT! And we literally talked the whole time! She’s super friendly, outgoing, and totally professional! I would recommend her to anyone!

I was impressed by her patience and attention to details. I was not sure of which color and style to get at first. She explained things in details and gave me some time to make the decision. It turns out to be one of the best haircuts that I have had in a while. I already recommended her to my family and will definitely go back!

Today I came all the way from San Francisco to see the incomparable JERALENE!!!
I have very thick, very long virgin hair and I’ve been thinking of getting a balayage for a while now to add dimension to my otherwise flat natural color. I’m getting married in 3.5 months so I’ve been VERY CAREFUL in selecting my hair stylist.
I came across Jeralene through word-​of-​mouth and honestly, I’m feeling BLESSED that I was able to wiggle into her schedule– this girl is POPULAR. And with good reason!
I am ABSOLUTELY in love with my new hair and the overall experience was like going to a good friend’s house and catching up on the latest and greatest. I adore this girl and will be coming from SF as often as I need to because nobody else will be touching my hair but her!!!

I came to this salon just for Jeralene. She had done my hair back when she was in school. I moved to FL almost 3 years ago, and on a recent trip back to Sacramento I knew for sure she needed to do my hair again.
It was absolutely perfect. I had some damage from past color (not from her), and she did a great job cutting just enough to make my hair feel great but still have length. The layers she put in fall perfectly. And she gave me bangs exactly as I asked for.
