Worse than I originally thought. I called about a rental property in Fair Oaks and was able to set up an appointment for a showing. About a half-​hour before the scheduled appointment, I received a phone call from Carla Morgan telling me the owners decided to sell the property instead. How utterly frustrating. btw: I’ve noticed the listing still shows up on various websites. Not since living in southeast Florida have I run into so many screwballs and scam artists who make life so unpleasant for those of us just trying to get by. Heed the warning: Give this place a very wide berth.

They are the WORST property management I have ever dealt with. My husband and I have moved 9 times, so we have dealt with a lot of land lords and property management. They don’t answer phone calls, upon leaving they charged us for stuff replacing stuff that never existed when we moved in. The house was FILTHY when we moved in, and there wasn’t a single apology. Carla Morgan is terrible at property management. Save yourself a headache and stay far, far away! I wish I could leave them zero stars.

Carla Morgan is the lowest form of real estate you will find in California. Her attitude towards tenants is nothing short of disgraceful and I strongly recommend people never to use ReMax Gold, she will make your life hell. As Michael C stated all they care about is getting the rent and refuse to communicate. Despite having called the office over 30 times she has never returned a single call and to make matters worse, you can’t actually call the office direct since all calls go through a message bank. She not only doesn’t communicate, she just doesn’t care provided the money keeps rolling in. Despite having left the house in immaculate condition and her signing off on the inspection she chose to hit us with a $ 255 cleaning bill. When asked to justify this she replied with one sentence, ”it wasn’t clean enough’. She effectively took us for a ride in the end and cost us over $ 1000… Rudest person I’ve meet in the USA since arriving here, fortunately the rest of the country doesn’t operate like her.

Carla & her staff at Remax Gold are amazing and so very helpful. When there’s a problem at a house they are on it, and make arrangements ASAP.
