Godfathers Pizza

Just checked in here to check right back out. When did they raise their prices to $ 12 per person? Because I’ve been coming here for over a couple years and never paid damn near $ 50 for a 4 person pizza buffet. And what happened to their customer service? The people who worked here used to be very friendly and welcoming but when I asked the girl at the register tonight, «why does your advertisement on your price board say $ 4.99 for kids ages 4 – 10 when she’s trying to charge $ 7.99?» She said she wasnt aware of the price on the price board (okay I’m no genius or anything but something wrong here? lol), and didn’t know why that said that but as long as she’s been working there, the prices have remained the same! Ok well in CA you’re supposed to honor the price listed on your advertisement because that is clearly misleading and false advertisement. Anyway, no thanks definitely won’t be coming back here for rude service.

Been here several times before. My favorite is the taco pizza. Its definitely one of kind. I recommend it. Their dessert pizzas are the bomb too. Service tonight was great. If you have time try the buffet. 8.99 for at least different styles of pizza plus salads and dessert. Not a bad deal, much better than a blah fast food burger.

After shopping at the Sunrise Mall the Mrs. wanted pizza for dinner. The Unilocal app spit out that we were near a Godfather’s Pizza, a chain I thought had long ago left the area and a chain I had not visited since I was a kid. We rolled in at about 6 and it was packed. They have multiple tv’s tuned to the football games and Knee Deep on tap. We are off to a great start! After doing some number crunching we believed that the buffet was the best deal as it included pizza, salad bar, cheesy breadsticks, potato wedges and dessert pizza. 3 buffets, 2 pints and a kids beverage only set us back 32 bucks. Everything was tasty. They were very good about getting hot and fresh pizza out and the half hour that we were there each one of their specialty pizzas made an appearance. Shall I say that I was not cheated. My favorite was their Taco Pizza. Super fresh tasting toppings and the the taco sauce base was divine. I had my first Taco Pizza experience at a chain in the Midwest called Happy Joe’s and found one a couple of years back at Pizza Guys but they discontinued it. Both of those pies were fantastic. Godfathers was just as tasty. Godfathers has a new customer and he will be back for that Taco Pizza.

Although I’ve lived nearby this pizza place for quite a while, I tried it for the first time last night. Overall, the pizza was decent. It wasn’t the best, but it was tasty. I would likely get pizza again from here.
I felt the staff were appropriately considerate and professional.
We decided to get one of their «super specialty pies» which basically just have tons of toppings on them. Actually this particular pizza had more toppings on it than any other pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. They allow you to switch out the sauce if you want. As I recall, they have marinara, pesto, white sauce (alfredo?), taco, bbq, and maybe some others that I am forgetting about now. I chose to have pesto sauce. The pizza was a bit rich though the pesto choice probably increased the oil factor for the pizza. Regardless, it tasted good to me and my companion.
Their website does not really list prices so if you need to know that information in advance, I would just give them a call. I have a feeling the prices may vary by location as this appears to be a national chain.

I come here all the time, it’s easily one of my favorite places to chill and have a nice pizza with family. The buffet is great, and they have a stamp card you can fill out and earn free buffets. There’s also an app they work with in store that gets you extra savings. Definitely worth the check in.

Horrible customer service, they don’t care about the customers. As soon as come in the restaurant, you feel unwanted.

This place reminds me of how pizza places looked in the 90s, or as I call it, the good olé days.
Their pizza offerings are kind of weird. Like a hamburger pizza or the taco pizza. The menu conjures up images of some white trash guido sitting around thinking of types of pizza he would like to make.
They do have a coke freestyle which is both good and bad. Good because your choices go from a standard ten to two hundred. Bad because the little kid in line in front of you takes for absolutely ever to decide what he wants to drink.
Oh and if you hate kids, don’t come here. Farrell children running around everywhere.
The service was average as were the prices. I would come back but it’s not a go to spot.

Jeez the manager is a jerk. You almost feel hated for showing up to give you his money. Even the rest of the staff looks mad being there.
The food was ok, about the same as dominos. But the it’s not a lot of fun going somewhere every one is in a bad mood.
Not going back.

Above and beyond service! The cool soda machine that makes any kind you want! I was helped at the counter to save $ 18.00 off the advertised price by getting my order to fit in their value deals. Great pizza!!!

This place is very family-​ish, spacious, and delicious. There’s an arcade and a room for parties. Super taco and Mozzo loaded pepperoni were divine.
I would’ve given 5 stars but it. Was. HOT. Like air conditioning is broken hot. Like dripping sweat while eating hot.
But I’d still come back — haha!

Visited for the first time with my kids. Bought their groupon deal and had no problems at all with using it or getting our $ worth. The service was good, the pizza was hot and ready for the lunch buffet. I can’t say it’s the best pizza I have had but not the worst. This review is for the service, getting what I paid for and their salad bar that was decent. They are open to making pizzas that are not available to reasonably accommodate your taste, which is a plus. The only thing I would not recommend is the quarter novelty machines that display stuff that is not inside the prizes that come out bringing a frown to your child.

The pizza here if pretty good, great choices and you can suggest a pizza for the buffet. only draw back is every time I come here usually weekends there’s a bald guy that drinks pitchers of beer and always controls the tv controls. I’m sure it’s the owner since he walks to the beer on tap and pours his beer. Not very attractive. Maybe a bar rescue episode haha

Best all you can eat pizza place!!! Godfathers in hands down best pizza! All you can eat plus the super cool every flavor possible soda machine! You can ask to make pretty much any pizza with any kind of sauce. I love it all! This a must go to place for pizza

NEVER AGAIN!!!
This is TWICE now that we have decided to stop in for a quick lunch and been told, «Sorry, but it’s past 2:00. We aren’t serving buffet.» The first time I could sort of understand, as it was 2:10. This time clinched it for us though. It was 2:01 and the b**ch in the kitchen shouts at the poor kid on the register, «No! No! It’s after 2:00, we aren’t serving buffet!» Give me a break. It was F***ING 2:01! It’s not like we were expecting fresh pizza, we were happy with what was already there. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. We’ll be going to Del’s Pizza from now on, where they *know* what customer service means!

The night we went, the place was a disaster. Almost all of the tables needed to be cleaned – napkins, dirty plates, pizza crusts… ewwww…the floor was even worse. There was a gal going around trying to clean up, but honestly, she wasn’t making a dent. It wasn’t late either –around 7 pm. Our pizza was mediocre at best and the sauce tasted metallic – just like from a can. I can think of several other places we should’ve gone to, but wanted to try somewhere different. Not a winner at all.

Love this place… but it seems that everyone in sac found out about it !!! This place has been so busy lately its hard to get a slice of pizza before its all gone ! Lol its good to see business pucking up great food at a great price !

Love there taco pizza and the dessert pizza. Used to get it all the time when I lived in Sacramento. Will for sure be stopping by the next time I’m in town

I’m updating my review as I sit here at the lunch buffet. Obviously since my last visit the the service has improved. I walk in and am greeted by a nice young man. I the buffet and request the taco pizza. As I wait I got to the salad bar and get a peach fanta. After a few minutes waiting the comes to my table to let me know the pizza was ready. Now to the taco pizza I never had it before but based on other reviews I had to try it I can believe it actually taste like a taco wow my mind is blown and it’s soooo delish! I’m glad the food and the service is much better. I look forward to patronizing Godfather’s Pizza again!!!

Very GOOD pizza and wings.
Its the perfect environment for a family. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food makes up for it. I have always loved pizza places with big tv’s, good beer, and a nice game room. This place has it all along with amazing wings and pizza. I will come here often! Thanks!

4. Ladies bathroom was dirty, one of the toilets was broken and one sink!
It was a good thing I had a groupon or else I would have been pissed!!! Pizza was cheap tasting. The combo was not your regular combo, pepperoni, beef, sausage, olive, and mushroom. Different and just eh! Save your money and go elsewhere! There is a reason there isn’t that many restaurants left of this chain! Oh, and the arcade games are expensive!
