Faye Ghadiri

Fay is now at William Charles Salon in Old Town Fair Oaks. She is wonderful! Best color/​highlights I have ever received. I’ve been going to Fay for many years and will never stray! I have fine, naturally curly hair (aka frizz city). I had always wanted to be able to do a straight style before but the stylists always said it wasn’t possible or they would spend over an hour straightening my hair, so I would never even attempt to replicate the style.
On my first visit to Fay, she updated my style and taught me how to dry my hair out straight in about 30 minutes. My hair was soft and smooth but still had body! She is my hair hero!
Fay is friendly, professional and has a very in depth knowledge of hair style, cut and color. The salon that Fay works in has a very nice intimate feel and offers manicure/​pedicure services as well.

I have been going to Faye Ghadiri for almost 15 years to get my hair done. That is, by far, a record for me. During that time, I moved to San Francisco and now I travel 120 miles to get my hair styled by Faye. Yes, she’s that good!
In the past, I have found it difficult to «evolve» with hair stylists… my needs and looks would change but I couldn’t get the stylist to adapt. So eventually I would have to break up and go somewhere else. It’s how I found Faye.
She listens, really listens to what you want. You never feel like she’s squeezing you in. Her styling is chic and up to date. And as time goes by, she has subtly made changes to continue to make sure I was up to date (we don’t want to have the exact same hairstyle for 10 years do we?)
Last year I lost over 50 percent of my hair due to shock from a major surgery. My hair looked terrible, thin and lifeless. I was wearing clip on hair extensions to help but finally, when the hair loss finally seemed to have stopped, I went to Faye. I wasn’t sure if I needed to go short (which I really didn’t want to do, but better that than long, thin lifeless hair). Well, I don’t know WHAT she did, but I walked out of there looking like I had about twice as much hair as when I went in. She not only did damage control, which was all I hoped for, but my hair looked GREAT! She did end up cutting off a few inches. but it was still long and I can’t tell you how many compliments I received on that one.
She is also an amazing colorist. I am often asked who does my hair and, since I’m in San Francisco, they are often disappointed to learn that she is not local.
I whole heartedly recommend Faye. If you are tired of your old stylist, she is the one to try!
