This place is a breath of fresh air! I stumbled on this gem one morning when Starbucks was just packed. The breakfast burrito was the best I have had. The atmosphere and staff were exactly what I was looking for– upbeat and casual. This feels like a neighborhood coffee shop. I will definitely be back.

This has been our FAVORITE casual, relaxed, coffee shop for many years! We LOVE it for its«hang around as long as you want» vibe, funky-hippy-country environment, classy background music, cozy inside on a rainy day, or chicken-surrounded exterior shaded seating, and great food at a good price. The folks are so very flexible – just ask if the music is too loud or you want extra red peppers, cranberries on your turkey-wich, or some free bread crumbs to feed the chickens! We’ve never been served anything but great customer service and wonderful food. On rare occasion that an order is not to our satisfaction, we just mention the problem and it is ALWAYS quick and friendly-fixed beyond our expectations. We’ve learned they are about to expand with longer hours, more floor space and an extensive menu. But they are dedicated to keeping the cozy feeling, so we’re still happy! There are tall and short bistro tables, a family table, and a sofa area for your comfort. Sit by the wall of windows and watch the passers-by of Old Fair Oaks or picnic in the park across the street. We enjoy splitting one of their very large sandwiches(under $ 7, with 2 inches of yummy filling) and then«walking it off» across the beautiful bridge and river-walk just down the street. The only disappointment we’ve had is their charge for coffee refills. The rotated funky artwork adds to the quaint charm of this unique environment. I have used it as a place to meet«long lost friends» or gradually get to know a new one. I recommend it for groups up to 6 people, as seating is currently limited. However, they plan to expand both their floor space and their menu this year. It is not fancy or snooty, so don’t meet here to impress anyone. Meet here to connect at a gentle pace without feeling rushed out the door!

Nice little coffee shop in the heart of the fair Oaks Village! Very friendly staff I am definitely coming back for more coffee as a matter fact I’ll get another Americano. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and very well-trained.

The latte had too much Carmel flavored syrup. The veggie burrito was just ok kinda bland & dry. It took close to 10 minutes to get the coffee and another 10minutes to get the burrito. No silverware, hot sauce or ketchup on the tables. Much better places to eat at in Fair Oaks.

Breakfast burrito is good. Customer service is hit and miss. The guy at the counter is good. One of the females, not so much. I was stared at with a death stare while I took 30 seconds to decide on an order, when there was no one else in there. Then it took 12 minutes to make my burrito, again with no one else there. Girl threw my burrito on the counter and said«here’s your burrito» as she walked back to the back again. Haven’t been back since. If I’m paying 9+ for a burrito, crappy service trumps a good burrito every single time. Also, shouldn’t a «coffee house» make their own coffee? Just sayin…

Love coming here and sitting outside, such a wonderful environment. The food is good, however I think the sandwiches are a little over priced.

Coffee, great. Breakfast, awesome, taste clean and sit’s in the stomach comfortably. The sandwiches, really good. Staff, super nice and friendly. The environment, cozy, welcoming, artsy, and clean. The side patio is awesome and you can watch the roosters and people go by. I think this place is a super safe choice for pretty much anything from breakfast to lunch, coffee to tea. And they even have a frozen yogurt bar, and beers in the refrigerator. The place is built to last in that little neighborhood, and it will.

What a great little find for a good sandwich and a relaxing place to hang out. I was disappointed that they didn’t have corned beef but I settled for a pastrami on rye. My only problem with this place is that the little girl behind the counter got several details of our order wrong. So next time I come here I’m going to insist she repeat the order back to me to see if she got it down right. The pastrami was warm and spicy and the rye was toasted perfectly. We also got their pecan bar and that was a good size enough to share and delightfully fresh and oh so good! We will be coming back here to try the yogurt next time.

I ordered some breakfast burritos this morning for a business meeting, and I really appreciate that the burritos were freshly made right when I got there, as she was ringing me up the last burrito was coming off the grill. They were also done on time as well, which when you are running a 7am meeting, you don’t have time to wait, so thank you! Lastly, the burritos tasted great, and were huge for the price! Good Customer Service, and the girl that was running the show this morning had it down pat. Thank you, I will come again :-) The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is I couldn’t get my bulk coffee order here, I had to go to Starbucks for it. Something to consider for Management =)

Fail! When your name has«Coffee House» in it, it should mean that you can make coffee. Saturday evening, ordered 2 double Macchiatos. I knew I was in trouble when the young lady held up the large cup and asked if I wanted that size. I explained no, and I want just this much milk(holding my fingers just barely apart). A couple minutes later she calls up the order and says, «2 double Caramel Macchiatos». So I go up and explain that I wanted a plain macchiato and she says, «my bad». No problem, Starbucks has everyone else thinking that a macchiato is more than espresso and foam(though they still know how to make the original). The young lady said she would remake them. And you know what she made? 2 more Caramel macchiatos!!! Many people would be thrilled, but a coffee aficionado, well, they want what they want. The worst part was the attitude when I went back and was helped by another young lady who said, «Well, you ORDERED a caramel macchiato!». Too bad. Mistakes happen, but attitudes are groomed over time. I gave up, got my money back and went to Starbucks(my last choice). An extra star because this place has been here forever, is locally owned, and is quaint. Lose the attitude, listen to the customer, and just be nice.

The quaintness of this coffee house is a refreshing difference from the big restaurants and franchises. The food is always fresh and very tasty. I’ve had the omelette, sandwiches(also breakfast) and desserts and they are all very well prepared with care and attention. The flavors of all are quite outstanding. The coffee is also quite good. It isn’t the best I’ve had but then I’ve had coffee in Colombia(the country, for you uneducated fools) and that’s tough to beat. The tea is about the same quality. This place is a nice place to have a small, sit down meal while having a chat with friends, family or even your mistress ;)(joke). Anyway, I’ll be a regular.

BLT($ 6.76) + small chai tea latte($ 3.62) + cluck cluck cluck PAKAAHH!!!($ 0.00) = an odd, yet down-to-earth casual dining experience. Food was good, service was great, the live chickens were. there, present ~ lovely neighborhood — cozy and small, but packs a lot of heat! They serve hot drinks, cold drinks, pastries & baked goods(cookie samples in the front!), sandwiches/paninis, soup, chips, and yogurt with candy toppings galore. Nice little lunch stop if you’re passing by the neighborhood.

Located in charming old town Fair Oaks is this café/deli. They are serving sandwiches, breakfast wraps and some delicious looking bakery items. Ordered the breakfast wrap with egg, potato, bacon and American cheese. There was an insane amount of bacon and the wrap was quite filling. Good stuff.

I’ve been coming here for years and am just now writing a review, shame on me. Awesome local coffee shop with friendly staff and a cool vibe. Outdoor seating is great in the spring and summer, good pit stop if your riding the bike trail. I’ve probably been here over 50 times, I’ll keep coming!

If you’ve ever meandered around Old Fair Oaks village, I guarentee you’ve walked by this cute little coffee shop and wanted to go inside. I mean, how could you not? Theres a dinosaur eating a car whilst having a cup of coffee on the side of the building! Sounds pretty cool to me. Fair Oaks Coffee House & Deli is a quaint little shop loved by the locals(both the human and rooster variety) that has great service and a fun atmosphere. I’ve been coming here for a little over eight years and have always been a fan. They serve a lot of different things(coffee, sandwiches, breakfast, frozen yogurt, pastries, meatloaf, the list goes on…) and everything I’ve tried so far has been good. Shout out to the Big Turkey Panini! The inside is adorned with local artwork and there’s also a bookshelf with a small selection of books and games for you to choose from. Personally, I love the patio. Theres a ton of greenery and a small waterfall that makes the outside area a great place to enjoy the weather and hang out with some feathered friends. You can even cement your newly found feathered friendship with a slice of free bread. Look inside for the jar on the bookshelf that says«Free Rooster Food».
