I have been going to Sharon at Acacia salon for 20 years. My hair always looks great and she is a super nice person and knows what she is doing. My girls also go to her. She doesn’t gouge you with high prices like some salons. I go every 5 weeks. Sharon is a true professional. I highly recommend her salon.

I have been going to Sharon/​owner of Acacia Salon for 25+years. Sharon has always done a beautiful job cutting or razoring my hair in addition to having a great eye for color. Acacia Salon, especially the owner, Sharon Loken, has been doing hair for decades. Sharon is above and beyond one of the most talented hair dressers ever! Trust me, I have some serious hair. I actually started going to Sharon when I was in high school. Years later, after college and years in So Cal, I made my way back to Sac. I went to 2 other hair dressers and right when I lost all hope of my hair, I re-​connected with Sharon, at her new salon. My hair was in a bad way! Sharon not only restored my hair but made it better and healthier than ever. She knows her stuff! Better yet, she won’t give you «what you want, cause you want it» she will be direct and honest with you if your color, cut or style request will not suit the hair you have, resulting in unhappiness. She gives it to you straight like any professional should! My hair (after 2 kids) is healthier, sexier and silkier than ever! I couldn’t be happier! I will NEVER go anywhere else! When I first walked in, I was a little concerned. The clientele were all gray-​haired, and there was an 80s vibe to the place (NOT the kind of vibe you want when getting your hair done!!). But once I sat down in Valerie’s chair and gave her free reign to do whatever she thought would look good, I felt MUCH better. She did a very cute custom cut that looked great and was very easy to care for. I had a gift card for color, a world I know nothing about, so I again gave her free reign to do something cool. She kept it very natural looking, while also making it a little funkier! So I stayed my natural color, but with more spunk!
