Quite an enjoyable breakfast joint. I’ve eaten here a few times and have had multiple items from their menu. I always leave 100% satisfied and feeling full. The waitress there is spectacular and actual cares about her customers. I recommend the breakfast wrap or the western omelette.

I love Dino and Dino’s patty melts! I’ve never had a bad meal here anyway in all the years I’ve been going here. Get a grilled blueberry muffin with butter. It’s amazing!

THREE&THREEQUARTERSSTARS! Dino’s is an unassuming and pleasant hole-in-the-wall place, located in a mini-mini-mini mall on the Scranton/Carbondale, near the Wegman’s. Breakfast is solid. My scrambled came out exactly as ordered: soft but not liquid. And although the bacon was a bit greasy, it still had a decent crisp and taste. Coffee was especially decent. It has a low-to medium body and is tempered quite nicely with whole milk. My homefries tasted like the bagged kind: crisp on the outside with a cotton candy texture, with not much seasoning. Still, they are decent enough. However, the optional fried onions that are mixed into it a really delicious. A nice blend of sweet and savory. In fact, I could have the onions alone and be quite satisfied. The lone waitress there is a sweety. Very pleasant and outgoing. At same time, she doesn’t wear out her welcome, or constantly bother you with«how are you doing» routine. I asked for extra butter for my buttermilk biscuit, and to my surprise, she brought out a big scoop of 100% butter. It made all the difference in the world when I spread it on the biscuit. This to me, is the worth the price of admission. One the way out I ordered a pumpkin muffin and a blueberry muffin. Real good stuff. Both muffins are dense and have crystal sugar baked on top. The pumpkin tasted like actual pumpkin with a hint cream cheese, and the blueberry was chock full of blueberries. Amazingly, neither muffin was overwhelmed by sugar. They also sell homemade chili sauce(for their Texas wieners) and while it’s somewhat greasy, it tastes pretty good. Lots of beef accented by tomatoes and turmeric. My only complaint, and it’s a big one, is the seating: Mostly bolted in benches/booths. You can’t adjust the table distance. Useless for portly subjects such as myself. They need to fix this.
