Friendly, clean storefront, and they work on Macs. I decided to try them out for a Mac repair. It was a mistake. It took them several weeks and $ 50 to tell me that they couldn’t fix the Mac. In all fairness, I told them I would be on vacation, so they didn’t have to rush. But, even after I returned two weeks later, they didn’t have an answer. They promised to look at it the next day, but that didn’t happen. Not trusting the Exton store information, I contacted the main office. Got a callback stating the delay was caused by a storm which diverted their attention to other customers. Almost a month after dropoff, I picked & paid for my still broken Mac. The same week, I found to a business that looked at it within one day, fixed it, increased the memory, and shipped it back to me — all within 3 days. Can’t recommend West Chester Computer Doctors in Exton. Do your research and take it to a shop that has good reviews specific to Mac repair.
Update: The business owner emailed me after I posted this review. He generously accepted responsibility for the poor service that he had been unaware of, and offered to refund my payment. I appreciate the offer, but will not take him up on it. He sounded committed to increasing his awareness & process improvement. I increased my rating to 2 stars, only because I appreciate a small business that wants to learn from what went wrong and do the right thing.

Thank goodness West Chester Computer Doctors are in Exton! I recently had them rebuild my father’s ancient and previously obsolete Dell. They replaced the hard drive with a new solid state hard drive and ran a virus and performance check. Just two days after dropping it off, it was back in my hands and their work is amazing. So glad I had them repair it instead of buying a new computer. Saved me a lot of money. They were quick and took the time to explain all of my options in such an easy-​to-​understand way. I have had questionable experiences with IT people in the past and these guys were amazing. I will be going back now that they are open in Exton. Highly recommend!
