Vision One Laser and Surgery Center

My husband had eye surgery last Friday at this facility… his surgery was scheduled for 8:15AM…he was taken to the prep area at 7:45AM…people came, people went after their particular procedure… people walked out without their procedures because of the VERY long wait. I was in no rush, as I had taken the day off work, but per the scheduled surgery for my husband, we would be there about two hours. I began to get concerned when no one came out to tell me anything about my husband & his surgery, & finally at 11:10AM I went to the desk & asked if someone could check on him for me. One person told me all the surgeries were done & he was probably having his drink… the receptionist actually got up & went to find out what was going on, only to come back & tell me that he was just taken into surgery. Finally at 12:50PM, someone came out to tell me that the surgery was done & I could go back to see him… I was upset, not at how long myself of my husband were there… BUT at the Major LACK of concern/​customer service provided for the person (me) who was waiting for some word on how my husband was doing!!! No one cared that I sat there all those hours, freaking out inside, without a stitch of information from the staff!!! My husband may go back there for additional surgery, but I can assure them that I will NEVER go there for any type of procedure, NEVER… for no other reason than the lack of concern and the lack of «customer service»!!! The caring on the part of the staff for the person waiting for their loved one to have surgery is NONE… myself or anyone else there waiting was of NO concern to them. And to make my husband sit back there for all those hours waiting for his surgery is totally unacceptable!!! I Most Definitely would not recommend this place!!!
