Extended Stay America – Philadelphia – Exton

This is one of the most affordable hotels in the Exton area – we only paid $ 89 per room. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The problem is that the hotel offers very little in terms of amenities: no pool, no exercise room, no computer station. The only benefit they offer guests is free Wi-​Fi and continental breakfast (which may have been the worst I’ve ever seen at a hotel). The breakfast consisted of a few granola bars, some packs of oatmeal and coffee. They did not even have real milk.
The customer service was also lacking. Most of the time there was no one to be found behind the front desk, even in the morning when people needed to check out. When we finally found someone at the front desk, they were not able to give us directions to a very popular venue that was only 10 miles away. He said, «I’m sorry, I don’t know where that is.» I had to go to the hotel down the block where they had pre-​made directions to our destination.
I will not stay here in the future. I’d rather pay an extra $ 20 – 30 bucks to stay at a hotel with better customer service and more amenities.
