Being relatively new to the area still, I had driven by Wolfrock numerous times and had ZERO idea how great of a packie it is! Although it’s on a quiet part of South Country Trail and the interior is a bit cramped, you really have a fantastic selection here, whether it be craft beer, HARD to find single malts and scotches and an above average wine selection. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are great. I have a packie slightly closer by that I’ve been relying on, but I’ll do a little bit longer of a drive to come to Wolf Rock now!

This is one of the few packies(New England term slang for Package Store) in the area of Exeter/West Kingston. They have a pretty good selection of beer, although it tends to the more mainstream. You can on occasion find some decent offerings, but it’s hit-or-miss, as it seems like they have something on hand for a brief time and then move on to some other item. The wine selection is fair at best. This isn’t really their bread and butter, to be fair. Most of the clientele come in to buy the 12 pack of Bud or Lite and get a pack of smokes, a lottery ticket, and a Slim Jim. Surprisingly though, they have a pretty good variety of single-malt Scotch and also some nice selections of bourbon. It’s good in a pinch, or if you aren’t looking for anything special. Friendly service, ok prices, and a cramped little store.
