Made the mistake of buying a chocolate dipped peanut butter cracker sandwich. Life changing. Made me realize I don’t need to fit into these pants.

This is a great place in Exeter. If you want to know what a real New England town is like check out this awesome chocolate shop! I bought the turtles which I highly recommend!

A quaint old fashioned chocolate shop offering a wide variety of handmade chocolates and candies. I’ve tried many of their items and they’ve all been delicious. What puzzles me is their use of artificial flavors, colors, including the dreadful vanillin(a synthetic and inferior substitute for vanilla). Most of us will pay for top quality ingredients. My only issue with this shop is if you are going to charge $ 22.95 for a pound of chocolate, use quality ingredients.

Fresh, delicious, made onsite, clean environment, friendly staff. It’s a must taste spot. You must try the salted caramels, pecan clusters, caramellows, peanut butter crackers, peppermint patties, and the oreo’s. These are my favorites, hope you enjoy. I’m not sure if they are open on Sunday, best to call. Buy from the glass cabinet, it’s always fresh for us. Don’t pass this place by.

THEBEST! A local treasure. Handmade, old-fashioned candy shop with delectable chocolate confections at the fore. Just go and try something. Everything about the place screams«they don’t make places like this anymore.»

Like other reviewers have said, the overwhelming smell of chocolate upon entering this store is sooooo amazing! For me, what makes this chocolate store different from others is the presentation. They do some great work with molds and they can create a beautiful scene of chocolate in a small box. I have tried their chocolate covered espresso beans and my boyfriend also bought me a ballet slipper shaped chocolate for Easter. Both were wonderful and this is a must see if you are passing through Exeter

Yay stress relief in edible form! Great for an afternoon pick me up and some comfort eating, anyplace that sells chocolate covered potato chips by the pound is my friend.

Great chocolate shop. All the basics you’d expect(nuts, caramels, toffee) and done well. They create special orders too. I have gotten some excellent chocolate guitars for my students from here. Helpful staff. Pass

This is a mandatory stop whenever I’m in Exeter. It is expensive, but worth it now and then. The staff however… at times they seem almost annoyed that you’re spending time checking out the impressive selection and enjoying the experience.

The smell is intoxicating. I swear you can gain 10 pounds just by inhaling! The chocolate is very expensive, but a nice once-in-a-while treat. The only downside is that several of their staffers are light on people skills and they’re not a fan of children.

When they’re in season, the Chocolatier has amazing chocolate covered strawberries! I don’t think this is the season, but you may want to bookmark this for when the time is right.
