Every time someone invites me to lunch I pick this place. The food is perfect every time. It’s the food you want to make for yourself at home, but aren’t skilled enough to make. I recommend any daily special, the egg salad sandwich, and any dessert from the dessert tray(but especially anything with rhubarb in it). It’s a charming lunch spot and perfect to grab a bite with a friend.

I really like this place and visit frequently. It’s quant and very charming. The staff is always very welcoming(except one person and I haven’t seen her in a while she may have quit– hopefully) The food is homemade and fresh daily, casual comfort fare. Usually no wait time.

Super attentive and friendly service. Inexpensive classic breakfasts done with care. Cute décor reminds me of my grandma’s house, in a good way. They didn’t have hot chocolate on the menu but they insisted making some from scratch for me anyways.

I’m only giving this place an A-OK, but I think you should check it out at least once. This place is neat — it looks like a small house, but it’s actually a restaurant. There’s kitschy stuff all over and pretty much everything is for sale. I spent about 20 minutes just looking through all the necklaces and rings in the front room by the cash register. Only three stars because the food was only so-so. I got the veggie wrap which was tasty, but I felt like I needed alfalfa sprouts and maybe pepper jack cheese instead of plain cheddar. I tried Russian Tea for the first time(for those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s Tang mixed with real tea). My friends love the stuff, but I thought it was nasty. Service was very slow. There was only one waitress. We went on a Saturday for a late lunch(about 2:30) so it wasn’t even the peak lunch hour. I was so hungry that I ate half my wrap before I could stop to take a picture. You have to check out the bathroom, too. They have wild hats in there for sale. I don’t have any particular desire to come back here, but I’m glad I went at least once. They also have odd hours so be sure to call before you go.
