Right next to L&L and a totally knock off version of Vegas right next door, this hidden gem does wonders to an empty stomach.

Super clean & fast service. Best phở I’ve eaten. Portions are small. But well worth it.

Having a fiancé who is Vietnamese I feel I should know what real deal Viet food is. I was recently introduced to my girlfriends mothers phở. I was really surprised to taste a VERY similar bowl of phở found at E.P.P. Being from Vietnam I take my future mother in laws food very seriously. Mostly because she made some of the best home cooked food I’ve ever eaten. Before I eat anything that has soup in it I always taste the broth first before adding any spices or other items. And this bowl today was nothing short of mmmm mmm good! It’s not the nicest restaurant but it for sure is the top spot in ewa to get food. If you’re sick of fast food in the area… This place is open 9−9… Go feed your face

Sorry Ewa Phở but I had to dock off a few stars. Your food is still good but I saw a bug leg in my water and that is disgusting. I know you guys comped me with two free drinks but it seemed like you didn’t want to give me those drinks. I probably won’t be coming back for a while. The image of the leg floating in my water is still engrained in my head even after the fact that it had happened months ago.

Location: Yay, Ewa Beach finally has a Vietnamese restaurant. Unfortunately its located in an older building behind the old Bank of Hawaii building. The location is not visible from the main road so you’ll probably be circling around for a bit. Décor: The décor is very plain. No decorations. There are just table and chairs scattered around. The front left of the room is their drink selection area and behind it is where they make the iced coffee. There is a decent bathroom in the back. Food: The food was good. It didn’t disappoint. We ordered spring rolls, summer rolls, Banh mi, phở and an iced coffee. Price: The prices are pretty standard if you compare it to other Vietnamese restaurants around here. We paid around $ 35 for our meal. Overall, I would come back especially for the coffee and Banh mi since it’s not too far from my house.

Food is decent, but customer service could be a lot better. I was rushed off the phone twice while making a take out order. They told me it would be ready in 20 mins, when I picked it up 40 mins later, I had to wait another 10 minutes. Would go back, but on rare occasions. The location is sketchy also.

It is an independent«Mom and Pop» restaurant in a out of the way, strip mall. Try the Lemongrass Chicken on rice. It is amazing. Perhaps the best thing I have ever eaten. It is incredibly flavorful while being light.

Just came yesterday with my aunt who wanted to try Phở for her first time. They have improved their menu and prices :) They even give extra when it comes to spring rolls which I love. My aunt said she enjoyed her first time trying Vietnamese food here.

Phở. Phở-real. Haha. I can never get tired of eating phở. It’s my comfort food. My brother and I decided to do a take out instead of dining this time. The takeout menu is a tad different from the dine in menu. We ordered 3 phở’s, pork + chicken and rice and a roll. I think we waited 45+ for our order. But we didn’t realize it until we looked at our phones. We were too occupied with a movie they were showing. When it was finally time to pay, the man and lady were very apologetic. And gave us a discount. We were telling them it was okay. The only down fall about this place is its location. I came here one time on my lunch break and it felt like everyone just stares at you the moment you drive in the parking area.

Place needs to learn how to treat their customers better. Really stingy owners! I spend atleast $ 30 – 40 every time i go there and they get upset when i ask for some extra hot sauce. Really? My $ 30 – 40 spent doesnt entitled me to $.25 worth of Sriracha? I honestly like their food, but when im spending this amount of money and cant even get some extra hot sauce, it makes me feel like im not appreciated! I’d rather spend my money at some place else that appreciates my business!

I saw this place after my workout and had a craving for Phở. Didn’t feel like driving into Kapolei, so I checked it on Unilocal and decided to go for it. I sure am glad I did! The people were so nice, the place is very simple and clean, and the phở is great! I tried the French Iced Coffee… whoa! That sure put a pep in my step… will have to make this my regular iced coffee stop! Going to the bathroom in a restaurant is always my true test of the cleanliness of a place. If the bathroom that the patrons go into is dirty, you KNOW the kitchen is nasty! The Ewa Phở bathroom is one of the cleanest I’ve been in! I am very impressed. This is one hole in the wall restaurant that definitely deserves to have a nice steady stream of business. I highly recommend you check it out.

Thank you phở gods for having a phở restaurant in Ewa Beach! Don’t mind the sketchy location LOL! It hardly ever rains in ewa, but when it does we always order take out from this place! Service is always good, however there are some days when our food takes a little longer than usual(no big deal). Owner of this shop is really friendly and mingles with his customers here and there. The number 28 is soo good! Portions are huge and i always have leftovers to take home. I love their marinated pork, it’s so tasty. I’m a lover of sour things, so I always drown my noodles in their vinegar/fish sauce. The Phở is good too! Nice and clear and sooooo comforting! One of my favorite places to get phở!

I am so glad there is a phở place in Ewa. If only it was not in its current location. Kind of in the back behind Bank of Hawaii so it like hit or miss. When I first came it was after the lunch crowd. Got to talk story with the owner Richard. He seems like such as nice guy. I got my beefball phở, spring rolls and summer rolls. It was pretty good.

This is the only phở place in Ewa Beach. Besides their hearty phở, I love their banh mi sandwich. It’s got the pâté spread with the steam pork and marinated veggies. Compared to Bale, I like Ewa Phở’s banh mi better. The owner is super nice and serves his customers personally. A lot of people also get take out orders from this place, too. I don’t think many people know that way inside Ewa Beach there is phở place, but I hope they will discover it and enjoy it as much as I do.

Place was empty around 2:15 pm. Went in ordered a Phở w/chicken for my gf. Less than 10 minutes later I was out the door with my take-out. The best phở in Ewa! Oh wait it’s the only phở restaurant in Ewa. Nah this is our favorite place anywhere.

Ewa Phở is hidden deep in Ewa, nestled by an L&L. Their main focus is(of course) Phở, but you will find regular plated entrees and appetizers to fill your stomach as well! From short ribs to traditional phở and oxtail phở, this place has many good choices for the unsuspecting passerby. I’ve done both take-out and dine-in, and have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly and the service is good. They keep a good eye on your water levels so you don’t have to worry about having to flag someone down whenever your cup is empty! The spring rolls are always made fresh and come to the table in a timely manner. Crispy without the excess oil, it’s hard to beat. The summer rolls are fresh and not overstuffed. Filled with just the right amount of shrimp, I love putting a little bit of their peanut sauce before taking a bite! I usually order #14 — the combination beef phở. I love the fact that they fill it up! They don’t skimp on the tripe, meat, or tendon. The broth is fresh and not too salty. I’ve come here enough I think the staff is starting to recognize me. It makes me feel special when they say«It’s good to see you again!». Although the area can be a little sketchy(especially after nightfall) it’s a great place to eat for a early supper or during lunch time. I definitely recommend this place to Ewa Phở Lovers who don’t want to make the trek to Kapolei, Waipahu, or Pearl City! It may be a little pricey, but it’s good food that’s close to home when you don’t want to worry about traffic!

Went here for the first time today. I have been in Ewa for 6 years, so I was terribly overdue to expand my horizons. The service was perfect! The nicest down to earth people I have come across in a long time. Restaurant service these days don’t always seem like customer satisfaction is number one, but they take pride in serving you. How often do you go to a restaurant and get tips from them in regards to other good restaurants? Well, because they’re honest, and they have room to. Brings me to part 2 of my review. I ordered the spring rolls and beef stew with egg noodles. The spring rolls are the best I have had on the island of Oahu yet! Fresh and very flavorful. They were not over fried or overly oily. The beef stew with egg noodles? Yuuummm! The beef wasn’t all fatty chuncks that make you feel like«is there beef in here?» The beef was tender and the whole mix was wonderful! Thank you Ewa Phở and Pastries for a wonderful first time! I will be seeing you again soon!!! :-)

Unilocal 365 Challenge #45/365 I noticed this place as I was cutting through the parking lot to go to the bank with my daughter because this location was previously a filipino store. Then, my friend posted on her facebook status raving about the beef phở. So, what do I do next? Unilocal it, of course to see if anyone else has the same excited ravings as she did. Both reviews didn’t disappoint me – it sounded similar to her ravings. I must have been on a calorie research yesterday because I was looking up calories for everything and anything including beef phở. Let me just say that it fits well with my journey to transition into a healthy lifestyle. I called my honey and said«Let’s go the new Phở restaurant in Ewa Beach!»(He’s always game to try new restaurants with me). Off we went and my stomach was growling with excitement. First thing I noticed was how CLEAN it was. Second thing, they gave us menus quickly. During this time, the restaurant started filling up but our orders were taken within five minutes especially because we already knew what we wanted. We both ordered the beef phở with rare beef and crispy spring rolls. They brought us glasses of water and placed the fresh vegetables on our table that would be used in our phở. It came out steaming and ohh… the first taste of the broth was delicious, fresh, and FULLOFFLAVOR. There was enough meat for me to finish along with my vegetables. The crispy spring rolls? I love it! I know this is definitely a restaurant that I will be returning to for beef phở as well as other items on the menu that I want to try. If you are looking for someplace new and family-oriented, this is a must-try on the Leeward Side of Oahu.
