This location is always busy, makes the orders correct, and the line moves fairly quickly. They expanded the parking, which is nice because they also share parking with Dad’s Deli — another popular place. It is hard to rate a Rita’s, unless you had a bad experience. However, I found this the better one in the area so I had to ensure to give it a good review. Keep up the good work.

Been here two years in a row on the first day of spring at lunch time as I work around the corner. They are always so nice and quick to serve! Even though it was snowing this year the employees were happy and helpful. They got rid of the watermelon flavor from last year and were able to suggest items that were similar.

This is a nice spot for satisfying your sweet tooth while cooling off from the heat. There are tons of flavors, like another reviewer mentioned, but only for certain dessert items. For example, for water ice, there are 20-ish flavors, but for milkshakes, there are 2 or 3. Speaking of milkshakes, I tried a chocolate one from here. It was a thinner type of shake, and the chocolate was strong, but not in a chocolate liquer way. I also got a taste of watermelon water ice… it tasted like the real deal! But it had mini chocolate chips mixed in it… what the? Was that intentional, like to imitate the seeds? It was downright strange. I recommend this place. It is a meeting spot for high schoolers, kids with their parents, soccer teams, etc, and there seems to always be a line of people. Problem is, for two small items it would cost you around $ 7 more or less. For that price, I’d rather get a frap at Starbucks or go to Wawa; I’ve seen cheaper in Manhattan.

Tons of flavors! You can not come to this Rita’s and not expect to find over 15 flavors. From the fresh ice, to extra soft pretzels, and to the awesome toppings they provide for sundaes. OMG! I can go on and on about Rita’s. Lol. Here are a few of my favorites — Mint choco chip gelati with vanilla custard — Mmmmm! I love the lil mini chips and the ice is so refreshing. Not sure how healthy it is, but a lil splurge here and there can never hurt anyone. Vanilla custard with peanut butter sauce. Sometimes I throw other things into it, but I tend to just stick with the basics. Pretzel — I dunno where this place gets their pretzels, but it’s always taste soooo fresh(like hot out of the oven fresh), even when you come near closing time. Pretzels tend to get hard as it sits long, but not here! Cherry pie blendini — it’s cherry water ice, custard, and nilla wafers. HEAVEN!

My son got a blendini made with just frozen custard(basically a flurry) and it was a rip off. The cup was only half full and when I showed it to the clerk, she said it was just the hole made by the mixer. Wow. For four and a half bucks for a small, they could at least fill the cup! I’d give them one star, but my other son’s regular cone was good. Overall, I’d say come here only if you must, but get your flurries over in Maple Shade.

I love water ice and I have to say Rita’s is very good but I love Cabana Water Ice & old school Leo’s Yum Yum’s are way better! But for frozen custard/soft serve ice cream this place has outrageous prices!!! Rita’s charges $ 4& some change close to $ 5 for a large soft serve in a cup! If you would have seen what a so called«large» looked liked you would have thought it was for a kid! ROBBERY!!! The soft serving sizes are inconsistent especially if the owner/manager is making it. Kohr Brothers has one of the best frozen custards out there!

As far as a Rita’s location goes(this isn’t a detailed comparison of all water ice joints… just Rita’s), it was great! They had a TON of flavors, a TON of sugar free flavors AND if you check in on Facebook they give you like .50 cents off! Nice! Service was fast a friendly and if I am back around this area and they are open for their season I would definitely go back here!
