Escada Salon and Spa

I’ve been going to Salon Escada for over 5 years. The salon is very nice and everyone there is super nice. I recommend this salon. Pemmie Juno does my hair she is an expert in color as well as cutting but as I’m in there all hair stylist are very friendly and professional. I have tried other salons closer to me and they do not hold a candle to Salon Escada. My whole family uses Pemmie. I was there 8 weeks ago for cut and color and when I was finished I was pleased to hear all the raves on how beautiful my hair turned out. It left a few patrons asking for the same cut and color. that is proof in the pudding!!!

I’ve been going to this salon on and off for years due to my home location. Pemmie is the best colorist ever. I have unnaturally white hair (no pigment) and hands down she colors my hair better than anyone and the haircut ain’t bad either. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Jaqui the salon owner could not be more accommodating and pleasant. Adrienne the shampoo girl is very pleasant.

This salon is very nice, and the staff and owners are very personable. It’s always busy when I go so book an appointment. Nice place to have Ur nails and hair done!

I bought a Living Social deal (mani/​pedi for $ 25) and was fairly pleased with the results. My manicure looked fabulous and lasted all through my California vacation (7 days), but my pedicure was less-​than-​stellar. The pampering part was GREAT, but the results were not. I’m not sure if it was the polish I chose or what, but a few days later, the color was all runny and you could see the different layers of the coats she put on.
My biggest complaint was the lack of UV dryers! My fingernails and toenails had to air dry which took FOREVER! If you’re looking to do a mani/​pedi, it’s going to be at least an hour and half before you can leave.

Sad story. My nail girl had to go out of town so I was forced to venture to some random place this week. Wha Wha Wha. Soooo I decided upon Escada cause it’s close to work and I could run in for a polish change on my lunch. Wanna hear some crazy shiz? They charged me $ 12 to change my nail polish… CHANGE! Not a manicure. Just a polish change. I was astonished! I’m still astonished! My girl in Brooklyn charges me $ 10 for a manicure and whatever crazy design I want painted on. Best part of this story is that it started chipping less than 24 hours later. Geez. I could have bought two bottles of OPI and done it myself with much better results.
My advice, don’t waste your time or money here.

I’m writing this short and sweet only because I just came back from Escada for a manicure on a lunch break. Now I’m not an ageist or anything but the woman that did my nails was probably in her late sixties and wore reading glasses, so needless to say I was a little wary at first. But as the manicure went on I thought she was doing a great, thorough job, that is until it was over and I could see my hands close up. Actually one doesn’t have to look close up to see the horrendous manicure I paid for. The nail polish is streaky and painted on my cuticles, which weren’t cut properly, and the skin around my nails is all dried out (she didn’t trim that up with the nippers either). Honestly, I can do a better job at home myself, so I won’t be going again. The staff were nice, but the nail service itself, not so much.

Worst facial I ever had she used hydrogen peroxide on my face as an astringent and the mask was mint julep from sally hansen… she made me wait for like 10 mins after the steam was done because she was smoking…(she then wqas breathing on my face and I could tell).se didn’t took care of my black heads or anything. no peeling… she didnt analize my skin or offered me products. nothing! anywas the worst! She did my many and pedi and she was clumpsy like she ddnt know what she was doing. horrible!
